Re: Cooling vests/collars

We purchased a swamp cooler a couple years ago for our boxer. It seems to help him, but the only drawback to it is that I always end up with my left leg getting wet when we go on walks. When we walk in town we stop and sit at the corners and he likes to lean on my leg. Other than that we really like...

Re: in house tie out system?

I am not meaning to steal the thread, but how much length do you guys give your dogs? I am working on doing the same thing, have the eye hooks in but am trying to figure out how much length to give the dogs? I was going to e mail Ellas leads to see if she could make me rope ones with snaps on both e...

Re: Getting dogs ready for baby

Thank you everyone for the input. You dont need to worry about the dogs being left alone with the baby, aint gonna happen!!! I laid down the law on that as soon as I found out I was pregnant. The dogs rarely go upstairs so i am not so worried about them going into the nursery. I did read the links g...

Getting dogs ready for baby

My dogs have limited exposure to kids and no experience around babies. Hubby put eye hooks around the TV room and I am working with the dogs on getting used to b...

Re: adopting in midwest winter

We also try to do a lot of mental stimulation in the house with puzzle games, we work on training things that need tuning up. You can play t...

Re: Dyson Groom Tool

I have been known to vacuum some of our dogs if I have it out doing the floors with it. I don't have this brand but all works basically the same to me.

Question about salmon and mackrel

I have read where raw Pacific Salmon and Jack Mackrel are not to be fed to your dog. Is it OK to feed canned salmon and canned mackrel because it is cooked?
