Re: Meat Grinders

Thank you FransterDoo. My mom feeds her dog raw but always gets it ground with the bone in it. She would like to purchase a grinder that can handle bone because she can get good deals on meat locally but it is whole meat/bones.

I will apologize right now if this is already posted. I did try searching first. I am wondering what brand meat grinder people use that feed raw to their animals. Thanks for your help.

No help in the guess department but she sure is a cutie!! Any guess on her age? I keep finding these dogs that fit the criteria for my daughters dog only I have about 7-8 years till I will be looking. Any way someone can foster her for about 7 years? (just kidding) Good luck little girl.

Re: Why is it always Spud?!

One of the admission reps at my school has 2 German Shepards and a while ago her and I were talking and she said her dog has pancreatitis and her vet came to the conclusion it was from her food. She was feeding TOTW also. For some reason I want to say the vet told her the protein levels were too hig...

Re: B.A.R.F. 101

My mom and I have been feeding a couple of our dogs raw for about 3 weeks and her dog was doing great, but all of a sudden got horrible diarhea. We have been feading chicken up to this point. My mom did start adding a suppliment to her meals (solid gold seameal) wondering if that might have caused i...

Raw feeding questions

I have been doing some reading to get ready to try putting my dogs on raw. My question is- can you combine protein sources in one meal? For example, in the book I am reading now (Raw Dog Food by Carina Beth MacDonald) she give an example meal plan and one meal would be chicken backs and rabbit. Or a...

Dermatologist suggestions

I am looking for a dermatologist to take Cash to. My vet has given me several names, but he currently does not have any clients who have used them. (he was a vet at our emergency center for years and about a year ago opened a day practice) I am looking for a more private practice versus going to a U...

Re: Feeding a lot of food... still skinny

I can't see the pictures at school, but I would prefer a leaner dog than a heavy one. My vet always tells me he would rather them a little lean than a little over weight. I would think if you are doing enough exercise to warrent increasing the food you can try it. If he starts gaining too much, cut ...
