Re: Amazing Treat Machine

I just might have to get one of these. My only concern is that my dogs will stick their heads in from the top. Might just have to cover it with something. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Meat Grinders

We currently get it from Peps Poultry in Quakertown. We found a guy locally but I just wasn't happy with his stuff. I can't tell you what is was about it I just didn't like it. I have tried yahoo groups but for the life of me I don't understand how to navigate around them. Never said I was the smart...

Re: Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots Polar Trex Boots...anyone???

Sorry for the DP but I just realized I don't have those boots, I have the Grip Tex. They don't come up near as far as the ones your looking at, so you may want to disregard my post.

Re: Ruff Wear Bark'n Boots Polar Trex Boots...anyone???

I also have the ruffwear boots and am not happy with them. They don't stay on very long. I adjust them after a little bit like it says to do but they just keep slipping down on their feet and all the snow gets in them. I know I will not be purchasing any more. I think it sounds like a good idea with...

Re: Lucy may be coming home tommorow

Very understandable. My mom works at the emergency vets where Gracie was so I have some extra privileges most don't. I would go up to visit her and sit outside parvoland ( they have an area just for parvo dogs that has a huge floor to ceiling window to look into it) and just watch her and talk to he...

Re: Meat Grinders

Thanks for the input BrokenAquarian. My mom and I were discussing the same thing you said as far as it paying for its self. We currently travel a decent distance every couple of months to get the preground food. So not having to fork out the money for fuel and wear on the vehicles along with the fac...

Re: Lucy may be coming home tommorow

You are worried because you care, nothing wrong with that. When we brought Gracie home from the shelter she was 6 months old and had parvo. She did live. As far as the cleaning, we cleaned everything humanly possible and threw out anything we could that we felt we were not able to clean properly. So...

Re: Lucy may be coming home tommorow

That is wonderful news :nana: I saw in the other tread that someone mentioned cleaning. When Gracie was at the e vets with parvo, one thing we did was a thorough cleaning of the house before she came home. It has been several years now so I don't remember what we used but check with your vet, they s...

Re: Meat Grinders

Thank you. After I posted this I kept looking and found a piece on Whole Dog Journal that people sent in reviews and Cabellas seemed like the most popular.

Re: Meat Grinders

Thank you FransterDoo. My mom feeds her dog raw but always gets it ground with the bone in it. She would like to purchase a grinder that can handle bone because she can get good deals on meat locally but it is whole meat/bones.

Meat Grinders

I will apologize right now if this is already posted. I did try searching first. I am wondering what brand meat grinder people use that feed raw to their animals. Thanks for your help.
