My Granddaughter is now just over a year old and here's what I told them. Decide what boundaries you will have in place when the baby comes and begin those now. If the dogs won't be allowed in certain rooms, make that start now. If they loose bed or furniture privileges start now. Don't make the cha...

Watch for extended lethargy. Just like us with colds, they will sometimes get tired...what you're watching for is that bone weary lethargy. If you see that, do get them to a vet.

Wow Congrat's to you for sharing your home with a Senior..they are by far my favorites. Murfins gave you excellent information. I just lost my two Seniors this last summer Cinder (Doberman) was 12 and Charlie (lab X) was 17. They, like senior people, will have good days and bad you just need to roll...

You always have to ask yourself, how much...how much time, how many resources, how much risk do I pour into one dog. How much do, while the rescue can manage the dog, do I really, in my heart, think there is a "regular" home out there that can manage the behaviors safely. We have to celebr...

Something we have used is similar to the ugo box....build a box, fill it with soil and plant grass...make the box something you can move and you probably want to build two or three of them.

put them where he can safely use them and clean and rotate them out of doors.

God I hate it when information gets screwed up....she is not the last of the previous litter. This little one came in all by herself as a stray??? I'm betting she's maybe 6 weeks and she is a really good puppy. She's only about 5.5 pounds so we'll see where we go from here. As little as she is I'm w...

We're gonna watch her for another couple of weeks and see if it's just that wierd growth patterns some of the pups go through.

It sure as heck doesn't slow her fanny down. She's going to foster with me for a couple of weeks and she is certainly giving Scooter and Magic a run for their money.

She is simply the cutest

itty bitty thing you've ever seen. She's Shepherd and something. She was born in the shelter so we have no idea what Dad was...could be lab, could be Pit Bull...she's too little for us to be sure. She's just 8 weeks and quite the little spitfire. She is confident and does well with big dogs, little ...

LeeRoy is already neutered and ready to go

He's 6-7 years old and a Hound mix. He's a very nice guy, clean, quiet and does well with other dogs. Walks very nicely on lead.
