I'm not a vet but that looks like how Cherry's belly used to get when she had yeast overgrowth.

Re: Sophia-Available in Houston

She is good with other dogs, children and VERY people friendly. Chases cats, not sure how she would react if she caught one. She is very smart and responds well to positive training. She's got a very soft personality and doesn't like the chaos of the shelter. She tries to get away from the kennel ar...

Sophia-Available in Houston

For the past couple months, I have been working diligently with Sophia on her leash walking skills and basic obedience. She went from pulling so bad no one could walk her to being right at my side, paying attention to her handler. I am absolutely in love with this girl. She has been at the shelter f...

Re: Canidae Dog Food

I happily pay $40 for 30lb bag of Nature's Variety Instinct Salmon. I've seen it at way higher prices.

Was thinking about trying Honest Kitchen but a 17 cup box of Zeal was $40. Cherry would get 2 cups a day! :(

Re: Black spot on skin?

Cherry has had 2. One was removed and came back as a benign skin tag. Another one popped up around 8 months ago on the back of her thigh. It is a nasty blood blister. When I squeeze it, a black scab filled with blood comes off. It is left as a small lump under her skin. The scab always comes back. T...

Re: Immune system supplements?

No, but holy crap that is expensive. I know no amount of money is too much for pet care but you can get the same ingredients at a natural health store or in a less expensive form.

Re: Immune system supplements?

Just picked Honest Kitchen Invigor for Cherry a couple days ago. Seems like a great product, I'll have to wait a few weeks to see if she shows any improvement. I'm really hoping it will help boost her immune system and she won't be so allergic to everything. She also gets Vit C every morning, just t...

Is there anyone that can help you with funds? He needs to get to the vet asap. :( Poor guy. Maybe try a homeopathic vet like Leslie suggested.

Re: Whats wrong with her PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!

I always said that too but we have had really good experience with 2 out of 3 Banfields so far. Not a bad ratio. There's multiple vets at each location, usually. And there's always bad and good ones. We've gotten lucky and found vets that listen to me, see that I know what I'm talking about and usua...

Re: Whats wrong with her PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!

Find a Banfield that has good reviews and get their Wellness plan. Not a bad deal if you are taking your dog to the vet a lot. Good luck!! And yea, I'd recommend Blue Buffalo.

Re: Whats wrong with her PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!

Ya, I'd be switching vets asap. Ask for a skin scrape, in all of the spots. Poor pup!
