I honestly don't understand this forum sometimes...how can y'all speak of such a cruel man with a tone of respect? A fighting dog as the best APBT to ever grace the Earth? Fair enough Cherry. So, what APBT do you think was or is the greatest APBT to ever grace the earth? I can almost guarantee you ...

So, the article by Irish Jerry (see last paragraph) doesn't specifically say Honeybunch was fed Ol' Roy. But if you have a video of it and say you have seen it ... I believe you FriscoGirl until I can prove ya wrong

It all goes back to HONEYBUNCH... CH. HONEYBUNCH ROM The story of CHAMPION HONEYBUNCH is written as all fighting dog stories, and that is by the dog themselves. What can be added to the accomplishments HONEYBUNCH has made as a winner, a champion and a producer. HONEYBUNCH today is regarded as the mo...

Irish Jerry wrote in the "American Gamedog Times" that he purchased HONEYBUNCH from Maurice Carver in 1972 as a five month old pup.

Maybe she was fed Ol' Roy very late in life :dunno:

^^ Nice 8) On the other hand, we know too that some current highly ranked ADBA dogs are fed ONLY high quality kibble. One who is a member here, but seldom posts, used to feed Natures Variety but has switched to Taste of the Wild and another who is not a member here, but is a moderator on a newly for...

Okay, glad you explained that you have video proof, because I was wondering exactly when Honeybunch was around. I do know that Ol' Roy is Walmart's store brand and was created in 1983. So for that time frame I had to wonder. I can't find info on the years that Honeybunch lived. I also just learned t...

Just to be fair, the fact that you pointed out about Honeybunch (and most likely others) is not lost on everyone. I'm SURE a lot of people who you would least expect, feed O'l Roy. I ordered some collars and a harness from a very popular vendor and guess what kind of box the products were shipped in...

The whole Raw, B.A.R.F., Prey Model and pet care in general discussions, always remind me of a great dialog Danny DeVito (I think) did in one of his films ... "People are always talking to you about truth. Everybody always knows what the truth is, like it was toilet paper or something and they ...

Oh, I meant to add that I used to feed them an occasional raw egg, shell and all (and eat them raw except for shell myself). Then I read an article that said cooked eggs were actually better and more efficiently digested cooked. So, now I hard boil eggs and chop them up before giving them to Rowdy a...

Thank You so Very Much 1lila1 !!! Awesome 8) Apparently, from the responses in this thread, there are diverse opinions concerning feeding raw or a more natural diet, while, obviously, all will agree that raw is the best diet. I still don't see myself jumping with both feet into B.A.R.F. and/or Prey ...

1lila1, that would be awesome if you had time to post the weekly meal plan. I like very much that you have done extensive research on the subject and gained some considerable understanding over a "few years". Another thing that I liked about your post was the fact that you pointed out the ...
