White feet don't treat I think has to do with the ivermectin toxicity problems with collie breeds (collies, sheepdogs, etc). Collie breeds (and mixes) can carry a gene that makes ivermectin deadly to them. I guess they're equating white feet with these breeds. If you know your dog's breed and know t...

Let us know how it goes. The rusty color is most likely due to hemorrhage higher up in her digestive tract :(

Don't feel bad. You are doing a very good thing for your dog, and greatly reducing the risk that he will develop prostate cancer when he gets older.

Check her dehydration status. Pinch the skin on her back and see how long it takes to go back down. It should go back to where it was almost instantly...if it takes any length of time, she is dehydrated. This can vary though depending on a number of factors. Another method that is more reliable is t...

How old was your dog when it was last vaccinated for Parvo? If it's a young puppy there's not just a small chance that it didn't develop immunity... it's actually a huge chance due to maternal antibodies. If it's an older dog, then you're probably okay, but puppies need to be vaccinated for parvo (a...

I'd say take her to the vet. If she's not drinking, but still urinating a lot and has diarrhea, she's going to become dehydrated.

It's best if you can find an alternate behavior and praise the dog for doing that instead of what you don't want them to do. They don't respond very well to punishment. For counter surfing... keep a leash on her and when she jumps up tell her OFF! and pull her down, then praise her when she gets dow...

Does your vet know the dog is in estrus? Many vets wont spay a dog in heat, or if they do, it costs a lot more. During estrus, the blood supply to that whole area and organs is increased and it makes for a more difficult surgery. If you can keep her away from any male dogs, I would probably recommen...

I hope that 6 mo old puppy is vaccinated. If there's even a chance it could be Parvo, they need to be kept more than "kinda" apart.

He is 7-8 months old. I am treating it with daily oral Ivermectin at I think 300 mcg/kg (he weighs 36lb and gets 0.48 mL). We gradually increased to that dose over 9 days. He is also on an antibiotic (Cephalexin) for secondary skin infection. They said if that didn't work we could try the Mitaban (A...

Titers have not been proven to be accurate in gauging immunity. Yep. There are lots of other aspects of the immune system besides antibodies. The only accurate way to determine the longevity of a vaccine is through challenge studies, where animals are actually exposed to the disease to see if they ...

Generalized demodex is really hard to get rid of. The dip is probably your best bet, unfortunately.
