Re: Tivoli

He looks nice in his new sweater! I have some things here that I think would work for him. Should I send them directly to the shelter? Or can I send to one of you to bring to him? He is breaking my heart!

Re: Can anyone help this guy?

Wow he reminds me so much of my boy. He seems like such a sweet goober. If I had room, I would take him in a heartbeat. I'm going to be keeping my fingers crossed for him, and I will also ask around and think hard about possible foster homes. I know you are overloaded and I would love to be able to ...

Re: Molly is joining the TPLO club

Hey there - Abner tore his ACL a while back - first a partial tear but by the time we went in for surgery it was a complete tear. I, like Martin's mom, chose a traditional repair. I tried CM at first (and let me add that I got a lot of chocolate from people about that as though I was being cheap, co...

Re: Bay Area homecheck needed - Pescadero

Is it a working sheep ranch where they also train? If so, I've been there several times to instinct test dogs that I have had in rescue and for herding lessons. If it is that place, or even a different place, I'd be willing to go down and do your homecheck. Please feel free to email me at turtledog@...

Abner has had them removed from:

ear
nose
penis
throat (he ate a bunch of them)

Basically we have had one foxtail-related vet visit per year. My dog Turtle, on the other hand, has never had one - and she is just about 9 years old. :dunno:

I hate them with a passion!

One of my client's dogs has a glass eye - different than what you are describing but here is a pic. He's the guy on the right. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3331/3514031667_7dd4c6796f.jpg It looks good - it is hard to tell at a glance and almost looks like he has a cataract in that eye. I can ask h...
