Re: Starved/abused bully boy needs an angel - SF Bay Area

how is this sweet boy doing now? He is doing well, thanks for asking! I can let his foster mom chime in too if she is checking in. He is recovering from kennel cough and up to a little over 59 lbs. He has a wound that is taking a really long time to fully heal but the vet that he saw yesterday want...

Re: Starved/abused bully boy needs an angel - SF Bay Area

Thanks to PBF, Po Boy made it into a wonderful foster home. He spent his first week with me at my house and I dropped him off to his new foster home on friday. He still has some healing and gaining weight to do but he is really such a sweet special charming and funny guy. He was severely anemic and ...

Starved/abused bully boy needs an angel - SF Bay Area

Meet Po Boy. This beautiful soul was picked up as a stray last week and is currently at the San Francisco shelter. At first we thought he was a senior because he looked so bad but now we are thinking he is more of a middle-aged guy. He is incredibly gentle and sweet. He passed his temperament tests ...

Re: Agility Advice? Distractions & Rear Crosses

. I wrote out this long reply the other day then ended up accidentally deleting it and was so frustrated I haven't been able to try again.... until now :) So a couple of thoughts... being handler-focused is not a bad thing but it would definitely be helpful to get her running out ahead of you. With ...

Re: Getting out of the bullys?

but I am sure if we start pointing fingers and making this personal we'll figure out how everyone purely sucks. you know, I have been reading this interesting thread and I have to say that I am just not seeing people pointing fingers and making it personal, but rather people taking it that way. It'...

Re: Helping my baby with PTSD

I'm really sorry about your boy. That is horrible. My oldest dog had to lose one of her front legs a couple of months back. She fell in a hole running down a hill after a ball and flipped and landed on her back. Her elbow was shattered right on the joint and couldn't be repaired. When it happened sh...

Wishing you peace in this horribly painful time. I am so very sorry for your loss. Ella was such a lucky dog to be so loved (and by so many.) My heart breaks for you guys.
