I've always done hydrogen peroxide too, whether on myself or my dog. I did read last night about the peroxide debate. What do you recommend after the first cleaning? Soapy water? The wound looks good this morning. Not red, not pussy or anything ... just the deep puncture. I already have amoxicilin ...

Ive always used it on the very first cleaning. Its a must IMO because it lifts out all the dirt and what ever else might be in the wound. But Never past the first cleaning because it can eat the newly made tissue.
