There's no harm in doing raw. It would be an improvement for sure. :) They sell pre-packaged raw through Nature's Variety if you wanted to start there. :)

Actually, that list is old from the looks of it. Especially seeing as how Blue Buffalo pulled the rice gluten and went gluten-free.

I would change what you are feeding your dog. That explains the bad gas. The food most likely has by-products. Def NOT healthy! If you want a cheap dog food I'd suggest getting it from walmart rather than the dollar store. I would not feed my dogs food from either place though. Go to your local pet...

My terrier had that problem. It was the food making the skin flakey. Nutro is a good brand of food to switch her to. It's pricey but works well. You should be able to find it at petsmart. They have a website too. http://www.nutroproducts.com/dog.shtml It has no fillers and it's meat based. Iams is ...

Slowly feed her. Smaller portions. Start off with just a good kibble and water and as she starts to fill out a bit, you can add goat's milk, raw egg, satin balls, etc. Be patient. As long as it takes to lose that fat/muscle it will take to build it back up. Plenty of water and free access to it. Goo...

Petsmart has the Authority brand food (either the normal or Harvest Baked) which isn't too bad. Or there's Nutro Max or Choice.

I absolutely adore this food. We feed the Wilderness variety. No corn, wheat or soy and no glutens. They did pull their cans but no dry dog.

Luna, my picky eater, gets all excited for her dinner and chows down.

I will NOT adopt any PB or PB mix to a home who takes their dog to the dog park. Too many risks.
