Check out Gambler too. ;) I'm open to out of state adoptions if a home check can be done.

Also try canned pumpkin. That's helped my muttlies with the runs on the occasional bout. I hope Ella's feeling better.

You're nothing more than a baby yourself and yet you talk of breeding your dog. The spay/abort was suggested for a very good reason. A bitch who whelps young is more prone to issues - it's not always going to happen, but the risks are far higher. Secondly, I highly doubt your dog is titled and healt...

I absolutely adore my vet. Dr. Groehn has been there for all of my critters - from mice and rats to the dogs, cats and snakes. She'll do house calls to help my ratties cross the bridge and she's reasonable. Out of the three vets at her practice (she's the owner), I'll only use her. I don't really ca...

That mutilation is the maiming of a bodily organ (such as is the case of an ear) is also da facts, love 'em or hate 'em. I noticed you didn't even touch my statement about euthanizing dogs and cats because human beings could. Same thing applies here, humans are playing the divine being and not the ...

As far as "it's your property, it's your right", isn't that what Cletis Porter said about our friend M.V.'s treatment of his dogs? So why is it a hateful argument in the one circumstance, but an acceptable one here? Because one circumstance is humane and the other is inhumane? Actually, y...

Guess, what, Picara - Ryker has a tattoo too. And he's cropped. That makes me completely horrid. But ya know what? I don't care. We're all for stuffing microchips into dogs - why don't we do it to ourselves too? It's not a necessary procedure. Yes, it has its uses, but so did cropping and docking ma...

Opinions are like arseholes and everyone thinks theirs is rosier than the next person's. However, that being said it's like individuals trying to impose the ability to control a woman's body and her choices. They should be able to make their own decision as to their dog. Dogs are still considered pr...

Mutilation. Pure and simple. Europe has the right idea. What was done to the puppy pictured above is mutilation. A crop is far from mutilation - it is done in a controlled and sanitary place by a licensed vet, if done correctly. I will say it is amputation and purely cosmetic and honestly doesn't n...

Chocolate Goodness, Gambler - Michigan

Gambler is approximately six months old - his former "owners" guess it's around June - and is a beautiful chocolate rednose. He's a very outgoing and drivey little boy with an insane desire to please. He handles well, but will definately need a firm owner who'll put obedience work into him...
