Re: Worlds greatest Pitbull toy ever!!!

I would be worried about the ball hurting his teeth... as well as him rolling it over his toes or something of the likes :s

AAaawwww!! I just wanna curl up with her on that couch lol.

My pittie isn't really dog friendly either - she picks and chooses her friends carefully. Some are better than others, some are worst. :)

Re: Hi from Jacksonville Florida

:welcome: I'm sorry for your loss :( are you worried about Butters now? We had a dog that passed away at 6 years old due to cancer - the odd thing was that 4 out of his 5 other litter mates also developped differing types of cancer as did his mother. I'm not trying to scare you, but just watch her, ...

Re: What Sports Can I Do With My Dog?

How do you get the dog interested in finding the object?? I would love to start this with Dolly - seems like I could do this in our back yard after a good walk. Its a good way for her to wind down, and burn some mental energy!!

Re: Army Combat Medic New to Pitbull Terriers

Welcome What a beautiful tribute to your grandfather! It sounds like this dog has a lot to live up to! I must admit though, I was half expecting you to have named him Taco after his pretty odd diet lol!! Thanks for saving him. He looks like a real sweetheart! Had you ever known any Pit Bulls prior t...

Re: What's Up?!

notice that I emphasized on the fact that there aren't different types in terms of the color of the dogs. Thats what I thought the OP was picking up on, though I may be wrong. There are different types in every breed.

Re: new addition!

Welcome. I may not entirely like my own province, but when BSL began plaguing Ontario, I was glad for the provincial line. It hasn't seemed to cross as of yet, but who knows? We can only hope. Are you close to the Quebec border at all? I'd love to see pictures of your pittie. 100 lbs seems huge!! Is...

Re: What's Up?!

Hi Frank, contrary to popular belief, there aren't really any 'types' of Pit Bull in the sense that I believe you are referring to. Quite often you'll hear of people using the term 'red nose' or 'blue nose' but that literally just refers to the color of the nose - don't be fooled by people who try t...

Re: Tri-Natural foods (please look at ingredients)

Thanks for the replies.

I think the reason why it adds up to more than 100% is that they are listed as minimums or maximums.

I'm going to look into the protein %s. I feed my dogs this as well as a raw diet. Dolly's allergies are all but gone now.

Re: Good dog food for low budgets?

I switched my dogs over to raw and let me tell you - even with getting 1/2 beef and 1/2 pig every 6 - 8 months ... It is NOT cheaper. I don't do it for the price though, its because Dolly has had some moronic issues with allergies that for some reason, no vet can explain, so I took matters into my o...
