I was wondering the same things about bugs....and the reason I say that is because my neighbor said her cats are infested with fleas and she is having a terrible time getting rid of them. I haven't seen any fleas in the house or on her but I know my one cat who is allergic to fleas, one bite and its...

The vet I am taking her to actually consults with a veterinary dermatologist so that made me feel a little better. http://www.portvet.com/site/view/71632_OurConsultants.pml I also think the place I am taking her to has newer technology than my local vet, which may make a difference as well. Thanks f...

We started out on timberwolf, then we went to taste of the wild because it was grain free, but my vet said well that has bison and venison in it, perhaps its the red meat, so he had me change her food to chicken and rice. I am feeding her diamond naturals chicken and rice. Whether or not its the foo...

As we all have probably read I have been dealing with Lila's skin. I gave her her cephalexin this morning and realized she has been on this for 13 days. She has also been on a steroid everyday for the past 13 days. When we were at the vets 2 weeks ago she also got a shot of ivermectin and possibly a...

Skin problems......How do I deal with this????

Lila has been on her antibiotic and daily steroid for about a week, week and a 1/2. Her fur is starting to grow back slowly and the red bumps on her belly are pretty much gone. Friday Lila decided to eat a big clump of grass and I wasn't able to get it all from her so she did ingest some. I would sa...

Well I've definately decided no more toys that can be ripped apart. Most of the toys that she has left are the hard rubber type and she will only have those under supervision. She is no longer allowed upstairs as this is where she is getting the socks out of the laundry. And the kids rooms are upsta...

I am really worried.......

So I have posted before about Lila trying to eat everything in site. I thought we were doing better until she got sick about 5 minutes ago. In her vomit I saw large pieces of toys, socks she has stolen among other things. And the worst part is these toys have been missing for about a week. She's sti...

Sorry for the double post, but I didn;t see the edit button anywhere. I do believe there are some fleas that are in the grass. I think they are sand fleas. Here is an article on getting rid of them. Also for the outside dogs what about cedar? If I'm not mistaken fleas do not like that either. http:/...

I also believe carpet frsh sells a carpet powder especially for fleas. I know you should always empty your vaccum b...

We drop the pill in the syringe and then pour water in and let the pill dissolve. then squirt it into her throat.
