Ya.. they sound like two peas in a pod! lol Venus had separation anxiety right up to the day she died. I always blamed myself in her early years as she was spoiled rotten but I think it really had alot to do with her personality. The treadmill sure wouldn't hurt but I think dogs like your girl and V...

Venus had harsh OCD for licking things. If she got worked up about anything, which was really easy, she's start licking the walls, the doors, you name it. She'd often do it after her famous jumping at the light trick http://photos-h.ll.facebook.com/photos-ll-sf2p/v71/22/19/651226004/n651226004_74791...

You know.. I've never even expressed her anal glands before or since. I thought I had read somewhere that always expressing them can cause problems as well. :dunno:

How weird with the Nupro. Arez actually had an anal gland rupture. The vet sent off a sample, flushed it, got her on antibiotics, it healed up and we never had another issue with it again. :dunno:

I sort of introduced Tank to Raven in a ''unique'' way. lol Tanks a HUGE spazz. Seriously 95 pounds with the mentality of a four month old really dumb spazzy puppy. He also has a really high prey drive and although he had been around toddlers with his previous owner and was awesome with them, he had...

there are also 3 children in the house This is also a huge factor in our household. The kids safety comes first. I've had many dogs here that get along with zero issues, but I've also had dogs that needed more control factors when it comes to other animals. The kids free run of the house...

I don't think she gets that sometimes " Figure it out between themselves " sometimes means one dog killing the other to get rid of it. Exactly. The way I look at it, that ability to ''work it out'' is EXACTLY what was bred out of our dogs. They were bred for high fight drive, low flight d...

I usually have a handful of kibble in whatever coat I'm wearing. I'll buy some more high value treats now and again but man... I get sick of smelling like tripe or fish. roflmao
