Re: No-Pull Harness

The ezwalk does an amazing job of controling Ashes' pulling, but I really don't like the design. Maybe it just doesn't work well for the bully bod, because the chest strap is always loose and hanging low on her. This also makes it rub some of her chest fur raw. A snug fit would be awesome

Re: Fire works

Things have been going smoothly over here so far :peace: I worked hard today getting her TIRED! She was crawling up the stairs to my apt after a long day at work with me. We did a training session, then I threw her dinner for her. Just tossed pieces of kibble around for her to chase and jump for. Di...

Oh my. I hope it moves things along and saves some lives, but I've always found the word free a bit worrisome

Good luck puppers and kitties, if I could help you I would.

Forgot to add I am going to hide with shaquillesab09 now..... You can jump in my foxhole anyday. I am right there with you. Caesar is a HUGE bully advocate. There are a lot of folks here that will argue pure positive is the only way to train. You can go to the Training Section for those discussions...

Re: Vaccination help, should I get it?.

Not trying to derail this thread, but I have a question. I am for vaccinating an animal, but not nearly as often as we do. I will always keep my rabies up to date, for my dogs sake. I'm not too worried about her getting rabies, but I would do the vaccine once. So, do you just take your animals to th...

Re: For Ella: Canine Cancer Awareness

I would like to nominate Julie64's beautiful Shay. Why? Because Shay is battling cancer herself. And why Julie.. cause Julie sends my crew of misfits TOYS !!! And they love her as much as I do . She never ceases to share her own wealth..which living in Michigan is one step away from living in a dum...

Re: For Ella: Canine Cancer Awareness

Ashes does not have a pink collar, and our PBF animal communicator said she likes being pink and feminine! We've also never had an Ellaslead collar before, and boy did we spend a couple nights curled up thinking about your girl.
She has a 17 inch neck

Re: The dangers of trusting one vet...

Ashes did not finish her food this morning. This is the first time I've seen her do that in over a year. It is especially strange since she's on steroids-Ashes doesn't no the words "not hungry."

I just want this to be over :(

Re: The dangers of trusting one vet...

It isn't completely affective-she is quite itchy, thankfully she just isn't bothering her ear. I'll give me vet a call about doing the every other day taper.

She has her surgical consult on the 6th. I'm getting more and more nervous as the days go by, yet I also have a feeling of relief.

Sorry, I fudged that. 3 tablets every 12 hours for 5 days, 3 tablets once daily for 5 days, 3 tablets every other day until its gone.

Re: The dangers of trusting one vet...

Its actually Temaril, which my vet says is a much lower dose of steroids. She's getting 3 pills for 5 days, then every other day until they're gone.

Re: The dangers of trusting one vet...

God I hate steroids. She is feeling better and I haven't seen her scratch her ear in a few days now...but the side affects are terrible. I have three large water bowls out and that isn't enough, when I wake up in the morning they have been sucked dry. Her appetite is voracious of course...she went t...
