Re: Fleas *sob!*

Ugh, what a pain! Even after bringing many a flea bitten foster into my home I never had a problem with fleas and I don't treat regularly with preventative. For some reason they just didn't last in my Baltimore dwellings. As violent, gross and insane as that city can be it does have its upsides :thu...

Re: watering at the mouth

I would guess he just doesn't feel very well, I believe you can give some over the counter stomach meds to dogs. Maybe a little canned pumpkin or rice?

Re: Do you feed measured amounts or let them gourge?

15 minutes is a long time to eat! My dogs take about 2 minutes if that to put down a bowl of plain kibble, longer if its floated. I guess they're talking puppies, but I've definitely seen some puppies eat quickly!

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

She doesn't seem to be feeling well. Still eating, drinking and pottying but she's got a case of "somethings not quite right." :(

Re: Possibly ISO Adult/Senior APBT -- VA

There are two seniors at the shelter down here (I'm just a little ways over the bay bridge on the eastern shore) who have been there for awhile. I have not met these dogs personally, but if they look interesting to you I'd be glad to stop by and check them out for you! Transport help always availabl...

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

Well, we had one come out one end and one come out the other. I'm not sure how many she ate but so far she's eating, drinking and passing so I'm hoping we are in the clear.

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

Oh god, I didn't even think about the strings. We lived next to a very busy train station in the city. On more then one occasion I would be taking Ashes for her morning walk during rush hour with people all around us. She'd do her thing, only for me to discover a long strand of grass that didn't com...

Re: oh lord...embarrassing injestion....

Yes this one always keeps me on my toes! She's never been a chewer. Her one weakness is decorative pillows. Miss allergy butt is so used to flea nibbling herself all the time-that when she isn't actually itchy she will turn her nibbling to pillows and take the zippers off. One time she chewed up the...
