Wandering Microchip

Does anyone know if a microchip can migrate to other areas of the body? My little boston mix, Olive Oyl, was laying in my lap the other day and I was stroking the area just above the top of her leg and felt "something". It seems to be about the size of long-grained rice and I can grasp it ...

The pecan meat is okay, but the shells have tanin (or something) that's bad for them. Altho I would think it would take quite a lot to do any damage. I used to have several pecan trees in the yard and the dogs always ate them, shells and all. But they usually weren't outside long enough to eat that ...

FBODGRL.....how long is the top section or "arm" of your spring pole? I've asked this question over in the Equipment thread but haven't been able to get a straight answer.

Thanks for the info - very detailed! I'm thinking 5 ft for the top section is going to be a little long. I have a feeling if your dog hadn't unseated the pole when she did she would have eventually broken the top arm. So maybe 4 feet. Or maybe I'll just go with whatever length I can fashion out of t...

Trust me, I've already done all the searches I can think of. That's why I finally delurked....so I could post the question.

I do have a flirt pole but for Edgar it's all about the tugging and I don't have the upper body strength to play tug of war with him for any length of time.

I don’t have any strong low h...

Lurker Revealed

Hi all. I’ve been lurking for awhile and thought I should do a proper intro because I want to build a springpole and I know I’ll have questions. My name is Barbara and I’m, well, let’s just say I’m old enough to adopt most of you. I started out with amstaffs about 20 years ago (actually, I st...
