Re: Ice cream ideas

I haven't come up with my own ideas, but one of the grocery stores near my house actually sells ice cream for dogs. Pupsicles...or something like that. Our dogs love them. But I like the idea, better, of doing it myself so that I know what's going into. I'd definitely do something with an egg in it....

Re: Best chew toys??

I did not know they made blue Kongs. We only have the black ones. We haven't had to replace them yet, but I think there will come a time...on the smaller one (I think it's a medium) the very top of it is starting to look weak. One of our dogs has resource issues, so the toys are up if we can't super...

Re: Hi there! hope im doing this right!

Eventually the moderators will lock this post. But I spend a lot of time in the general section. There is also a section for training, you can post there for advice.

Re: Hi there! hope im doing this right!

It must be tough having young kids and a new puppy. Of course they want to love on her and play with her, she's new and exciting. I would suggest that when you do start allowing them to pick her up again, maybe for them to only be allowed to do it while they're sitting on the floor Indian style and ...

Re: Hi there! hope im doing this right!

Welcome and enjoy the forum. There is a ton of useful information on here...and if it's not on here someone can tell you how to get to it. I look forward to seeing pictures. On a side note about the behavior problems it may be that Sweetie still doesn't feel 100% yet, and being picked up or hugged i...

Re: more help requested-- moving--

My advice is to think positively. Before moving in, determine a routine and then stick to it. He will appreciate it. Dogs can adapt just like people. You're moving into a new place, you're going to have to change some of the things you do, but you know you can do it. So can he. If you think he's goi...

Re: Tail Chasing>>OMG HELP!

In the original post you said you're getting ready to leave to get married. Planning a wedding puts a big stress on you and possibly anyone close to you. Is it possible the dog is feeding off of your energy. What's going on when the tail chasing starts? How do you feel? That could have a major impac...

Re: The Mysteries of Button's Mind

At the beginning of this post I had so much to say...then I read all the comments and I have nothing. :) I agree with everyone. And I'm very happy that there are people out there like you who take care of dogs like Button. We need more yous out there. I love hearing stories of people who don't give ...

HELP! Our dog has suddenly become aggressive

We have two Pits-Bailey and Trooper. Bailey is a female and Trooper is a male. They're both around 3 1/2 years old. We've had Bailey since she was about 13 weeks. And recently we adopted Trooper last April. Bailey has been constantly socialized and trained (we believe training is life long). She gre...

"Old" New comer

I registered about a year ago, but could never figure out how to post. FINALLY! :) Actually after that first frustrating day I haven't been back. I'm back now because I have an issue and I'm looking for some help/advise/support. I'm prior enlisted and also a military brat. I enjoy traveling-though I...
