Re: In Need of a Very Durable Leash

I have leather leashes from Paco Collars and STleathercraft. Brads leather is almost twice as thick as paco leather. It definitely took me a while to break in, but once It did, I really enjoy the feel it has to it. I definitely trust that leash and Brad is very reasonably priced. I use my paco leash...

Re: Kibble change (Fromm?)

Ive never used fromm but have heard great things! I would definitely give it a try, I cant find it locally or I would love to try it! We've been feeding TOTW, and Couda does get tear stains from it, but that happens with a few foods, so I dont worry too much. Nutro put out a grain free food, so we g...

Re: Living with an HA dog?

a lot of people euthanize HA dogs, because they cant ensure something wont happen. Because there are so many dogs without issues dying in shelters, because they are liabilities money wise, and because they dont want another headline that reads pit bull attack should something happen. but there are p...

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

Its not arrogant at all. From what I have been reading and from what I have seen, that was one of the reason why they did it. Tonight when I get home from work i'll look for those links again, but its out there. Why do you like the cropped job if it doesn't look natural? And you do? Also I wasn't c...

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

When the ears are cropped, especially the crop job that looks like little nubs of the ear is left, you cannot read the dogs ear signals. The ears are also unnaturally positioned upwards, and that is how they stay because of how the cartilage heals. Cropping it allows it to function like a natural d...

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

It does make it hard to read canine body language. I'm sorry I haven't seen proof other wise. no offense but, the only way this would be true is if the person looking doesnt have the experience and knowledge to understand what they are looking at. This is completely untrue. I know a good bit about ...

Re: Walking Harnesses for the High Maintenance...

I have harnesses that are very similar to the Missy V harnesses. They are made from fleece and very comfy on my girls' sensitive skin. Not sure how the dog would like the fleece in the hot texas sun but it is gentle at least. http://www.releashme.com/ I get a lot of compliments on it from every day...

Re: Behaviorist questions

Not sure if this makes you feel any better (or worse) but in my experience, a lot of people who are very good with animals and training and behavior and so forth aren't necessarily good at the business side of things ... so someone might have excellent credentials and really know their stuff, but i...

Re: Jumping need help!!
