i did a search for the distance between Chicago and Huntley where Speedy is..

Trip distance: 50.4681.2 mi Time: 1 hr

Thats not too bad if we have members in Chicago.

just got back from the vet. he has a luxating patella (sp?) they did take an xray and they said his hips look great but his knee cap goes out of socket creating the creak sounds i was talking about. the doctor (who is like a mad scientist) talks in cirlces using all these big words. i left his offic...

what is an NSAID? i spoke to the vet on the fone yesterday. rocky is on a wellness plan where everything including doctors visits are free. the only thing i pay for is medication. he said that before he does the xray, he would like to examine it first and maybe try some medication. and if its still ...

he is going to the vet again today. i put a heating pad on it last night and he didnt move at all. i bet it felt good!

when i massage his legs, i hear a little creaking sound from his knee.

Limp?

I've noticed that since the weather is cooler, rocky has started limping. This happened last year too around this time. but the vet said then that there was nothing wrong.

could it be that he is limping because of the change in weather? is it because of the cold?
