Re: Canned Food

Dry is primarily corn gluten/wheat gluten/carbs/things dogs shouldn't really be eating (or people for that matter..) ..but a good dry food brand is healthy to feed (wellness core, etc). canned food can be equally as bad if it's a poor quality brand (pedigree, ol' roy, etc.). I have not had a problem...

Re: People hugging strange dogs is one of my pet peeves.

i feel the same as you do Mya. A couple of years ago while we were waiting in the vet's office for Hershey's annual checkup, these two children ran over out of nowhere and THREW themselves on Hershey and wrapped their arms around him before I could do anything. He gave me this "help me mom"...

Re: Pedigree problems

My dog had digestive issues on Pedigree and a severe allergic reaction that consisted of vomiting/diarrhea. Once your pup is well, consider transitioning to a food that has meat as the first ingredient.

Re: Reactive Dog Blog

Offtopic, but I love the fact that you named one of your animals Maus! The cat in my avatar is Maus, and I have never come across anyone else who has named an animal with that spelling lol

Has the cat had any vet care? Could be ringworm or mites.

Re: Royal Canin SO food?

My male has been on Urinary SO for 6 months or so and - knock on wood!!! - has been doing OK. He had issues previously on Wellness canned, then on a prescription diet of Hill's C/D (he wouldn't touch the Purina UR). With a cat that has FLUTD , the owner must be diligent in observing the cat's litter...

Re: New pitbull owner, maybe, not sure if he is or isnt

welcome to the forum that is a very cute pit bull (or X) puppy your girl friend "found"! He must have been very young when she 'found' him if you have had him for a couple weeks now. Hershey is a good name for a chocloate pit bull puppy? (the public already thinks of this breed as beasts/...

I prefer Advantix, as it's safer than Frontline, in my experience. Haven't had a problem with it yet.
