Re: Decided to try out Holistic Select

If Holistic Select does not work, have you tried Fromm? Charlotte and Buddy eat it and they are doing really well on it. I can not remember how much we pay for it though. We have tried many different dog foods and this is finally a dog food that agrees with their sensitive stomachs and they really l...

Re: Recent fighting between my dogs....

The dog in my avatar named Mya used to get along with all my dogs too. She would play with them, sleep in the same dog bed as them etc. just like your dogs. Well, after she turned a year old she started slowly showing signs of dog aggression and a few months later(after she seriously injured one of ...

Re: Cesar Millan

I have watched Cesar Millan for a long time on TV like everyone else has. I still do not get the point of the kicking the dog on their side with his foot. What is that suppose to represent or do? Isn't that just asking to get redirected on? I know the grabbed of the neck and poking(looks more like s...

Re: March Trick of the Month: Army crawl

Thank you for the video above with Sneaky, Red. I may have to try to teach Buddy to army crawl tomorrow. Buddy knows many tricks but does not know that yet. Granted he is paralyzed from the waist down so he will not be able to do it as well as the other dogs here but we will try. : ) Charlotte does ...

Purina One Beyond dog food

I saw this dog food on a commercial so, I thought I would go look it up to see if Purina is getting any better with their dog food ingredients. This new food has no corn or wheat in it. I am glad they made a food like this because it is a good option for people who want to feed better quality food b...

Re: What do you feed your dog?

Ol roy or kibbles and bits, i know not the best but i been trying to persuade my dad to get better unexpensive dog food. I actually bought a can of nutro, so i hope they like it. Diamond Naturals is a really good inexpensive dog food. When we had more dogs, we fed Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice to ...

Re: What do you feed your dog?

Our dachshunds Charlotte and Buddy eat Fromm Pork and Applesauce. They are doing really good in it. Buddy is picky about which dog foods he likes and we have finally found something he absolutely loves! :) http://www.frommfamily.com/products-fs-d-d-pork.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

How does your dog feel about thunderstorms?

Poor Charlotte and Buddy hate thunderstorms! We had our first thunderstorm of the year today and they hide under my feet while I was on the computer the entire time. So, how does your dog feel about thunderstorms? Make it stop Momma! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5253/5498023960_7964d33bfd.jpg IMG_...

Re: Work to eat toys

As much as Mya loved her Bob-a-lot that thing is SO hard to get food in! And is about impossible if there is left over dog food in it and you would like to get it out. I have a Kong Wobbler to but I have not gotten to use it yet since Charlotte and Buddy hate work to eat toys. I think you have alrea...

Re: Spring of spring pole

On Mya's side of the spring pole this is the spring I used because the spring like you have she easily stretched out because she was so strong and big. This one though worked really well for her. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100193571/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&ca...

Re: She killed a puppy

I am sorry. It only took Mya a few seconds to kill our dachshund Piper. All she had to do was shake her and bite down on her middle to crush her ribs into a millions pieces and puncture Piper's lung and stomach. So I can imagine that it would only take a few seconds for a 70 pound dog to kill a litt...

Re: Need help w/ Heal : _I'M_ consistently failing my dogs

x2 to what Stormi and Amie said. Heeling on a leash was one the hardest things to teach Mya. Off leash she was wonderful at it. She would walk right beside me and I would tell her to Sit(what I used for heel) and she would sit and stay there right beside me. You would think she would be great at in ...
