Sucks, doesn't it? There's nothing you can do to GUARANTEE you won't get a dog back. Was the guy a home owner? Some people won't adopt to renters for this very reason. It's weird. When people decide they want to give a dog back, they almost always want to do it right then, like that very night. I'm ...

A lot of insurance companies also discriminate against malamutes. I wouldn't be so eager to support BSL. It could very well be your breed next.

I was attacked by an off leash doberman. I don't blame the dog or breed, I blame the irresponsible person who didn't contain or control their dog.

Great Post Ruffian! The voice of reason. I have 3 dogs one male and two female. One of my females " WAS" extremely DA and somewhat HA. When I rescued them , both dogs were strays and over one year old . SHE HAS BEEN NEITHER FOR OVER FIVE YEARS NOW . My 2 females are together 24/7 with NO ...

Definitely have it checked out by your vet. It could abscess and might need to be pulled. Generally for my dogs if it's a smaller tooth I'll just have them pull it, but if it's a big canine or something then I'll look into a root canal.

Let us know!

I have two boxers and two pit bulls. They all play really well together, but they are rough! I've got a couple holes in my walls and they've knocked coffee tables over before.

Now they're only allowed to really wrestle outside.

meech, no offense, but this dog is in quarantine, and has attacked two people without provocation. I think it is way beyond the point of socializing him. This is an unsound pitbull, and probably should be PTS. none taken...I'm just not so quick to judge (unsound pitull) because most of the time eve...

I hate to see a dog killed, but clearly this dog cannot be safely managed by you. The damage is done now. I'd go get him a burger, give him some love and humanely euthanize him. Are you being sued as well?

Wow. We (our rescue) had a parvo pup and treated him at home. Saved roughly $500.00. He pulled through just fine, we did bring him and get meds from the vet but we treated him with the meds at home... Maybe the foster parents weren't comfortable providing that kind of care themselves? There are som...

I would assume the bad poo was from the dietary indiscretion rather than the zylitol. Of course, to be sure you'd need some blood drawn, but if it were my dog I'd watch him like a hawk and go the vet immediately if there are any changes.

Sometimes yogurt can have the opposite effect and cause gas. It helps Patrick's gas (there's nothing worse than a boxer butt!) but it makes Doogie's gas worse. *shrug*
