Re: Am I right or wrong?

Only when necessary - maybe twice a year. A damp towel works just fine on their short hair if they need an in-between touch up.

Welcome Jeremiah. Would love to pictures of Sox. I'm glad you were persistent in choosing a rescue. My family is from Nebraska - Lincoln & Stromsburg. It's a beautiful state.

We successfully managed our JRT's HD. He had the series of adequan injections (for 6 weeks only), a lifetime of mild/moderate exercise and keeping his weight down. He never ran after the age of 1 but lived happily till 14. I believe he was pain free for all those years.

Welcome and thank you for rescuing. Pics of Kiba please :) Urinating on the bed may just be a training issue. I would never punish a dog, instead praise - loud and happy praise - whenever you see her. I understand she's a stealth eliminator but you'll need to watch. Barbara Woodhouse's No Bad Dogs m...

Welcome. Lucky girl (and you)! She's gorgeous. My husband & I are 50 ish and we rescued Otis a year ago - I've never been so tired out from a dog. :) Luckily I have my kids to run & play with him. Send more pics.

Thank you for taking care of her. You'll find a lot of good information here. It's kinda hard to see her face in these pics but she looks like a pit.

Lily takes this for allergies - but only at night. I've reduced her pills to 1/2 of prescribed dose and she still gets sleepy from it, but it helps. She's also 11 so sleep is her preferred pastime.

Can you see another vet? Sounds like urinary tract infection which is painful.
