Thanks for all the advice. I've been working with them separately. As much as I'm sure the name before the command would work with Gus. I'm not sure Cash really knows his name ( that goes to show how little they work with him). They are obviously at different levels of training, so as much as i woul...

You have a good point packopits

I can totally see myself clicking to reinforce one dogs behavior while the other is being a brat. Or missing marking a behavior because im paying attention to the other dog.

As of last night we are dog sitting my bosses dog - he is about 8 months old or so. It is actually her sons dog, whom sh...

Thank you guys. Expensive for sure, i think were going to have to spend the rest of the year working and staying home, no eating out, movies or anything of that sort, but its definlty worth it when you consider the alternative.

And as for Gus, Chicks dig scars, right??

Surgery for Gus

Saturday morning we noticed Gus was not acting like himself - we figured he was just tired from being up later than normal. We went out for a few hours came back and he had thrown up, we thought maybe just an upset stomach. That evening he threw up about 5 more times in a short period of time - and ...

Need Advice Please

So i posted a while back about my puppy having diahrrea. Since then we fasted him for 24 hours then started him on a bland diet of chicken and rice, he was on that for about a week before we even started mixing any food in. He was doing okay for the first 3 days or so, went to the bathroom maybe onc...

The yelping and ignoring is the way to go. Anything else we would do to get our puppy to stop was not working. He just thought we were playing. Just be consistent and do the same thing EVERY time, eventually it will pay off. Try more exercise like Nickdawg said. Mental exercise too! Our puppy is 5 1...

Thanks guys, I just figured if he really isnt doing well on it, its not even worth it to try and slowly switch over. Also is it necessary for him to have a puppy food, or is just a regular dog food okay? Same question for large breed food, is there really that big of a difference? or should we just ...
