Re: Dog biting feet. HELP!!!!!

Wash her feet everytime she comes inside, I recommend a mix of water and apple cider vinegar. When bries feet get bad I do a soak, I dunk her feet into the mix,.Pat dry to get drips then let them air dry.

Re: help with pulling dog

"Such tools ‘work’ by engendering fear, pain, and distrust, and in doing so they cause long-term damage that make dogs more reactive, less trusting, and less able to reach their full potential in their partnership with humans, no matter what form that partnership takes." But at the risk o...

Re: help with pulling dog

I guess you can tell my mentor with decades of experience as a trainer/behavioralist that he is wrong too. Where is his listing in the applied animal behaviorist directory? Because I'm sure the ABS would love to know one of their certified behaviorists approves the use of prong collars. If he's not...

Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

TBH I think there are worse things someone can do with a pet then feed them not as good food. Ideally a food without tons of filler should be fed, but sometimes circumstances dont allow for that and saying someone should not own dogs because maybe they lost their job or are going through rough times...

Re: help with pulling dog

You are getting really defensive for no reason. Stormi is incredibly knowledgable and experienced, how do you expect to learn anything if you dont accept the fact that maybe some things you know are wrong or other people know a better way? Can some dogs respond well to a prong? Probably, however wha...

Re: dog backpacks?

Ive heard good things about the ezydog packs as well which utilize their chest plate harness design (and are on ebay for $60). Ive also seen ruffwear packs on kijiji from time to time.

Re: dog backpacks?

I have an outward hound small one that I don't remember the name for, its held up for a few years though doesn't hold much. Also have aruffwear approach pack which is much sturdier and holds a lot more. I got it on Ebay lightly used for less then in store. If the packs are the same price is say go r...
