Re: ***QUALIFIED to give behavior advice for AGGRESSION.

but at the same time, as stated above training methods are not unified and are all over the board. The fact that that right there was ever written is a big part of the problem; a HUGE misunderstanding about training and behavior and how "training" relates to behavior especially, in most c...

Re: ***QUALIFIED to give behavior advice for AGGRESSION.

You made some good points and so did some others in this thread. But when it comes down to it, it is about personal responsability. If you have been around here enough you will know who to trust advice from and who may be off kilter, but at the same time, as stated above training methods are not uni...

Re: Puppy Pad, House training help needed

I've never had a dog who was paper or puppy pad trained...but I was thinking one of two things. Move the pad, closer and closer to the door...or take the pad away and block that area so she can't get to it. I think if you went that route, she'd probably just pee other places since you said she was ...

We have been taking her out at normal intervals and treating her outside when she goes (she gets special treats for this). There is one spot in our basement that she will go in, so we have puppy pads down in t...

I give them baths when they are dirty (brie likes to lay down in mud puddles) but not on a regular basis. im curious if people bath their dogs even whe...

Re: Dealing with aggression in the city

Ya know, I find it funny that she who repeatedly states loud and proud that she doesn't lift a finger to train her dogs at all and encourages her dog to lunge, growl, snarl, and engage in extremely stressful acts continually ends up in the training section lecturing owners who are actually responsi...
