Re: A question.

I'd allow her free access to run on it as much as she liked. In my opinion there there is no such thing as too much free will exercise, unless they are nursing an injury. I'm sure there will plenty of other views shortly.

They are making us pay taxes on each and every one.

I don't know anything at all about N. Carolina. But it has always been my understanding that "taxes" are levied on things of value...so what is the value of an abandoned dog and how is it determined? This sounds sketchy

Re: Home visit in Northern VA for Izzy

I am sooo glad Izzy is finding a good home! If I had not put in an app for Blue the day before you posted Izzy...she would be living here right now. LOL. Everything happens for a reason, I hope her new home works out perfectly! She's gorgeous!

Good News. You know I'm always shocked when rescues make stupid decisions - maybe Blue Steele's first applicant seemed really spectacular but I don't think I'd consider a family with 4 small children and a husband in a deployable active duty position for a 1 year old pit bull. That's going into it ...

I think I'm sitting on the bullseye of a karma freight train

A couple weeks ago I received the "I'm sorry but Steel Blue has been adopted" e-mail . I was immediately disappointed of course. But it was not unexpected. Steel Blue is a beautiful dog and I'm sure there were plenty of apps for him. My first thought was to put in an app for Amy's Izzy rig...

Izzy is beautiful! I just put in an app on Friday to "lost Paws" CSN. For a boy called Steel Blue. If anything derails on that, I will surely talk to you about Izzy! She is exaclty what I'm lookin for! Thankyou Amy! Steel Blue: http://photocache.petfinder.com/fotos/MD209/1241899268/MD209.1...

If the perfect dog didn't fall out of the sky tomorrow we wouldn't be adverse to fostering. If there was a need on the shore.

I will be in Bel Air, MD for a weight pull and conformation. I wouldn't mind checking out a weight pull. What are the dates? I'd be glad to meet Harper, won't make any promises though....that boy has some parabolics on him don't he ....hehe. I'm also partial to mostly solid colors....I know, I know...

Feels kinda desolate around here...

Well it's been almost a yr and a half since Pooh went to the bridge. Rasputin joined him a couple weeks ago and it now feels downright desolate around here. we are down to 3 dogs...the fewest we have had in over 10 yrs. I think it's time for a Pitty to fill this household out again. So I'm tossing o...

We had a dog that would have just past 14(probably did, but we only had him for 13+). Also with debilitating arthritis. Rasputin responded well to Adequan shots on a monthly basis for the last yr he was with us. It made a huge difference in how he was able to get around. He went form being carried (...

At one point I raised my hand to brush hair out of my face and she flinched pretty badly. Less than fifteen seconds later she would take treats from me again, and less than two minutes later there were no signs of an issue, so she'll forgive, but she seems to expect bad treatment. With the tattered...

Re: Beautiful dog in Alachua County

She would not look out of place in a show ring, she's that pretty. She's young, about 35 lbs and definitely someone has worked with her. She was picked up as a stray but her toenails were painted pink when she came in... I'd be amazed if there wasn't someone out there searching for her...
