You can tell, how long they've looked, and how much the pet means to them, long before they drive up - from the first contact usually, or how often the animal saw the vet - c'mon, they've had it 4-5yrs. and it's not even altered? Over here on the East Coast it seems to be going ok. I don't think the "recession" is hitting hard here as there were plenty of people in the mall on Black Friday spending away.. Hafta disagree with ya on that one sweet. I'm as far east as ya can get, and there are condo's and new houses ...

I cannot defend anyone that gives up their pet without looking at all the possible alternatives. That being said, this is not the normal "slow economy" Thousands of people are losing their homes and it's not over. I am quite sure there are many that are giving up their pets as they look at...

I've been to Guam, years ago, beautifull Island. Tell us about yourself...your interest in pits etc. You might wanna read the sticky on proper intros. They are justifiably kinda strict around here. Gotta keep the bad guys out.

Ya know, just writing that story out has made me feel better to some extent. It's strange, I'm an old ornery fool, had animals of ALL kinds(hawks,coons, rabbits, dogs, cats ) throughout my life. Loved them all but not one of them affected me like Pooh. I'd also like to add what most of you all know....
