Pat I always considered Meal and Meat as different sources of protein even if from the same animal. Having the pleasure of having a chicken plant about a mile away I get to see the tankers of chicken intestines/blood/feathers on their way down to South Ga to become dog food. At any rate, as it's not...

Before you go there does he run around the car alot? If so i would look into a car harness first and see how that goes. Those drugs while effective will dope your dog up for alot longer than a car ride and as far as the benedryll goes this is probably the real effect being gotten since there is no e...

Most dogs are like ready to eat at any given time. It's OK, they don't know that more is coming later and will gorge if allowed like wild canines. Actually, it's good because you want them to pay attention to what the hell you are saying and it's hard to motivate a fat happy doggy that is being lazy...

I wouldn't do it Boo. if memory serves Connor had alot of bone showing that would not heal. Daisy cracks the tip of hers open at times and it hurts like mofo if she gets you with it but I wouldn't consider having it lopped off as an adult unless it was very serious. A little tail knick can sling alo...

Puppy Chow is total ass. I'm with Moto Diva, feed the Nutro. While not a great food itself it is a million times better than puppy chow. Since Nutro actually has meat in it, pup will probably add on weight by default. Most of the good foods do not have Puppy and Senior foods. They are life long form...

Riley used to puke in my car, sometimes just heading downtown which was maybe a mile away from the house. I had to sell the racing buckets out of my car over him. He dug the convertible because he could pop out of the top and he did better with this. He was full grown when I got him too. My other tw...

Look allright. My concerns would be the white rice, wtf is natural chicken flavor and why is it in there when chicken is the #1 ingredient...this makes me think of some crap from a rendering facility. Lastly I would go with a food with fewer protein sources. I counted 7 animal sources, grain protein...

I would switch to Salmon as the Mercury content of Tuna can concentrate and toxify. I used to eat alot of tuna fish and daisy loves it so i kept alot around the house for a while until I realized that neither one of us should have it that often. Salmon is cheaper and better for the pup. Daisy Mae go...

I went through this with Daisy big time in the beginning. She wouldn't eat for days at a time. Now much later she is a ravenous eater but she needed to A: get into the swing of eating on a stable schedule. Much like if your not used to breakfast you aren't hungry for it. B: Get a food she liked. She...

I'm almost positive that Whips are one of the few that HW preventative won't take care of. Panacur would have been the drug she mentioned. It may take more than one cycle to kick it. To be one the safe side make sure to walk the new kid in a secluded area where your dog doesn't go potty or others......

Yeah, the Lamb was good. She had just been on it so long because it was all Doc could eat that I switched it up to the F&SP because she's a fish junkie. I went to the Canidae just for sake of change as well. The eye boogers are back and she rubs her face in my blankets all the time now too. Defi...

I had Daisy on the Super 5 chicken, the Super 5 Lamb, and the F&SP over the course of a year. I just switched to Canidae and am almost through the first bag and I will switch back to Wellness probably. The Canidae stops Daisy up pretty bad for some reason and she has alot of trouble going to the...

My experience with this lead me to the Wellness Lamb Super 5 mix. don't ask me how Doc could eat a table but chicken hurt his tummy unless raw  I went round and round and he had the runs for about 2 months. He did/does well on this. Lamb is usually the best route in these cases IMO.
