Gross girl dog business question....

Yuk...ok here goes. So I turn around the other day and Daisy is bouncing around trying to catch her own ass. I go to investigate and there is this long snot like thing hanging from her girl stuff. I wince and clean her up and have no idea what the hell this is, really viscous gross whatever. So she ...

damn, the search is still buggered. There was a long thread on this a while ago. When Kaz straightens us out I'll find it. I gave up on Kongs as my dogs shred them. the people at Kong were so amazingly nice and helpfulthat i began to feel bad about sending them in for warreny. They sent me a check f...

That's awesome H.A.G, I know you have had a run of it. Just out of curiosity, what caused the blockage?

Daisy did really badly on Canidae and I switched her back to Wellness. I think I can get Merrick foods now at my local shop so I may try that. I had the same results as you with Canidae, and it wasn't at first. I noticed that you said that there was some blood in stool...not that you shouldn't switc...

Good luck Mike. Since the diagnosis is out, what would a couple of nights boarding run you? My experience is 15.00 a day tops. With the IV it should still come out to be an insignificant amount of money. Even if things are tight anyone can afford 50-100 bucks. Can you tell your vet your budget and se...

It has been a while but no that long. Pat, who we all know and trust had first hand dealings with this so I was deffering to her. I repeat few things I read but I trust Pat and for her to have first hand knowledge of multiple instances of this from her limited area was enough for me and made me wond...

Don't go running off just yet. Many dogs died on Innova. I used to feed it, the immediate results were amazing, and then it started causing problems. I'm sure Pat will be by at some point to put in her experiences. i don't think that Innova is a better food than Wellness. I just switched Daisy to Ca...

Once per year should be fine, vets decisions to put animals (or people for that matter) on cortizone regularly for chronic problems bothers me. It will fry the liver over time.

When I was working Daisy up to raw and her nightly meal was chicken parts and her breakfast was kibble, she did fine. The only trouble was keeping her from, in her excitement, running through the house with chicken backs. Yuk.

It is very pronounced in the breeds that were bred to have this for fighting reasons and the pitbull isn't one of them. Daisy has alot of loose skin around her neck, it's just from poor breeding choices.

ditto, canned salmon is far less than tuna. .99 for a can three times the size of a tuna can.

Blue Steel, where do you get your Ivermectin? My first bottle was given to me by a friend and now I'm out. Don't really want to go to heartgaurd...I will have to this month as the mosquitos are just about out and Daisy has been off. But thats as long as I care to spend that much.
