Re: Cancer Treatment Experiences

So sorry to hear about Caesar.... that completely sucks. I do agree that if amputation is an option to definitely consider it as I have known people have had more time/good results with it in the past. As far as chemo, my dog Rain had chemo for MCT this year and the treatment was very easy on her. S...

Re: Cat with open sores on face - graphic photos

When they took her in for vomiting the vet had them change her food. She was originally on Royal Canin and now she is on Purina One. They don't remember whether she had started to show signs of the sores prior to the food change or not. Not sure what the difference is between these 2 foods is as I d...

Re: Cat with open sores on face - graphic photos

I would not assume those sores don't hurt just because she is not avoiding rubbing her face on things. Cats rarely show that they are hurting. I had a foster cat who had a claw growing all the way through her paw and she didn't even limp. I bet those are painful. She may be 15, but if she's pretty ...

Cat with open sores on face - graphic photos

I am cat sitting my brother and his wife's cat over the weekend and their cat has been having some health issues. The cat is 15 years old and a few weeks ago started throwing up on a regular basis all of its food. They took it to the vet and they could not find anything causing the issue, so she is ...

Re: Please think of her

Hoping word is better today :pray I have created a ChipIn for Tigger for all who want to donate towards her treatment. I know the vet bills are astronomical at this point and still climbing. As I am well aware from my situation with Rain - every little bit helps. http://pitbullfund.chipin.com/tigger...

Re: Please think of her

Sh*t! I am so sorry to hear that she has declined since this afternoon - it sounded like she was headed in the right direction from what the vet student said when I was there. I was hoping her PCV would remain steady and then continue to steadily increase - I can't believe it has fallen to 16%. I wi...

Re: Please think of her

Really hoping this treatment works Val! Pulling for Tigger here and I am going to try to make it up to Glendale tomorrow to visit her. :pray  For funds - definitely apply to PBRC as this is life threatening and you would qualify for a small donation. Also see if the clinic takes CareCredit as t...
