Re: Opinions on Iams Prescription Food

I would wait.... it can take 2 mo for a dog to regulate on a food and if you are switching every week or so you won't know what is causing the allergy. If you are going to be completely raw in a week (why are you waiting a week?) just hold out and see how well he does after he has been raw for at le...

Re: diet for my 85lb rescue dog

Re: Heat stroke...

I don't want to be a jerk here, but Misskiwi lost her dog in a tragic accident which she feels AWFUL about, and people are arguing about how bad it is to keep a dog shut in a car. I think it's a little tacky, to say the least, and I think it's a little...mean. We all know that it's not good to leav...

Libby I am so sorry you are having to deal with this so close on the heals of Hoss...... sounds like you are getting a good jump on it though and really researching. Re: Heat stroke...

I am soo sorry this happened and it does make me wonder even in temperate weather and car does not feel warm if the fact that the dog cannot get a breeze to help cool it down if their body temp will rise enough to cause heat stroke. I left the dogs in the car while watching one of the boys soccer ga...

Oh I love those!!! That is so awesome, I love biking with my dogs.... it is great exercise for both of us.

Re: I know of a dog who is infested with fleas and earmites..

you do need to be careful and don't get yourself into a situation you can't safely get out of.
maybe if you can for now offer to help, talk to a vet clinic or spca see if you can find someone to donate some stuff to help.
just do not put yourself in a dangerous situation.
