Re: Is this a healthy weight?

I can't tell with the little girl, it's easier to see with a photo of them standing up from the side.

The boy does look overweight.

I agree with Misskiwi, get a measuring cut and start monitoring exactly how much they each eat. Looks like the boy could use a little cut back.

Re: Has anyone used NU-STOCK for Mange?

the vet will give you the oral ivermectin. i know some folks get it at tractor supply too BUT it has to be a certain kind.. you cant treat it until you know whether its demodex or sarcoptic mange so a vet visit is definitely needed Yep, definitely get that vet appointment. You have to be sure you k...

Re: Inclement weather

I say it depends on how your dog takes it. If your dog is miserable when caught in the rain, I'd say hold off on the walk 'till it clears up a bit. Let him go potty in the yard and take him in for extra play time inside. Play tug, run around the house, etc. so he still get a little exercise. Some pe...

Re: Button has demodex

How are Button and Ruby doing? Y'all both went the neem oil route, right? I've noticed that Saint started scratching his neck more than usual. At first I thought he was just picking up fleas or something from the yard, but no. It looks like he's fairing up with a little demodex again. (He had a few ...

Re: VERY Hyper....

Keep her leashed and have everyone ignore her as they have been, but be sure she's leashed. Only reward her when she's quiet and all 4 paws are on the ground/floor. Completely ignore the antics, keep her leashed and reward the behavior you want to see :) yup, what she said. It may take a while for ...

Re: MANGE!

Ok thanks you guys so much. I gave it to him tonight. It is indeed the 1% solution, i mixed it with some nice breyers vanilla ice cream. :)) I have a syringe that the vet gave me from the first case of demodex and it even has .1 increments so its perfect for this i just scooped a small scoop and sq...

Liquid band-aid?

On the side of one of Saint's toes he has a little scrape. He got it a few months ago. It seems like he got it because his toenail is a little crooked and it must have scraped the side of his toe after I clipped it one day. Since I noticed the scrape, I've been super anal about smoothing off his nai...

Re: Collarmania Martingale Collars ?

i have a leather chain martingale from collarmania, and i haven't had much (if any) staining. but the chain tends to hang in the front of his neck, which has very little hair to stain . . . so i can't say for certain if it'd stain a furrier dog or not! I've never seen a leather chain martingale bef...
