Gosh, sorry I can't help you. I don't know much about that stuff. I am very interested in your vets explanation regarding the price difference though.

Saint doesn't eat his own poop, but he will eat any and all cat crap that he finds on walks. I have to watch for it, or he'll grab it in a second. :yucky: He also has a fondness for my parent's dogs' poop. I go visit my parents about once a month. I ask them to clean up the yard before I come over. ...

I'm glad you found what works for her! I know how that ordeal goes. It took me a while when I first got Saint to figure out what would work with him. Ended up being DVP Sweet Potato and Fish.

So maybe that's the key for sensitive pups?

If he's doing well on Reconcile, why take him off of it? Are you concerned about possible long term side effects? Just curious :)) There is a chance that 5-htp could help... or it maybe it wouldn't do squat lol Whatever your decision, just be sure not to give him 5-htp while he is on Reconcile, as ...

others feel embarrassed to even mention they have a dog on it. Yep, that was me. It forever to mention I had Saint on Reconcile on PBF. Would it be a good idea to eventually switch Saint off his Reconcile and onto 5 HTP? Since I've moved into my new apartment I think Saint has been doing pre...

Saint had issue with loose stool when he was younger too. I tried lots of different brands and formulas and what worked for him was DVP Sweet Potato and Fish. He's still on it a year later and is doing great!

I have a PediPaws that he wasn't too crazy about in the house so I'm going to try bringing that out there one day too. I think it may have to do with the fact that we just finished a walk so he's a bit tired, and the fact that he can watch the ducks and seagulls while we're out there. He's more inte...

To those of you having a tough time clippinng nails . . .

Saint is usually finicky about having his nails clipped. It's not horrible, but he's a pain in the butt, mouthing the clippers and pulling his paws away. Yesterday I had the easiest time clipping a dogs nails in my entire life. We just moved into a new apartment which is a block away from a man-made...

Sorry, I don't know anything about having disabled dogs. The only thing I know is that around me there is a boarding and rehab center for dogs with disabilities. I don't think they sell carts, but you might like to check out the site anyway. There's a very cute pit in a cart on the homepage. :thumbs...
