Re: RIP Kong

Oh man, you just can't make this stuff up. :clap I would be grossed out but I'd put on a latex glove, fish it out and put it in a hot water/ mild bleach solution for just a few minutes and scrub it. Then I'd put that sucker in the dishwasher..with other dog stuff (bowls and other toys..). Maybe run ...

I was hoping he would "roo" .. it's hilarious. Ganymede does it too, but Einstein has a "deeper" roo. Not sure how to explain it

Re: Two Weeks! Give em a break! :0 )

Einstein got neutered yesterday and he's already wanting to play with Ganymede. I'm keeping them apart but now they've seen each other from a distance and when they don't want to play, they just lie down in the same room and ignore each other. I have been watching Einstein closely for signs of stres...

Re: Two Weeks! Give em a break! :0 )

So here is McGyver again (husband wants to rename him Einstein). I took these today. Tomorrow is the last day of the shut down. http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/172ba0164f.jpg He's chasing a squeaky ball in this pic - he pounces on it and tosses it up in the air. Then he'll stare at it and w...

Re: Two Weeks! Give em a break! :0 )

So everything is going well and we're almost done with week one! He's starting to get a bit more spunky and lovey dovey (he's been on meds, when they found him he was covered in ticks and very sick). We've renamed him McGyver. We feel it suits him perfectly! :inlove: I took these photos y...

Going to be firm and stick to the two weeks. This is our newest addition. He was rescued from a homeless camp. Right now his name is Carlos, but I want to change it :) Anyway, this is Carlos..Day 1 of shutdown. http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/2256/day1n.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Re: Good dog food for low budgets?

TOTW is one of the most expensive dog foods in HI - it's about $60 for roughly 30lbs of food. I was feeding that for a while but before that we were feeding Natural Balance. Ganymede got bored with Natural Balance and started becoming a picky eater. So we tried Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul a...

Re: Why do you feed the food you do?

Ganymede is doing really well on Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul but every now and then we have to switch to taste of the wild or something of the same quality. He's a bit of a picky eater and he gets bored if we feed the same food all the time.

He's healthy and has energy. No qualms.

I am going to order the WalkyDog tonight! Ganymede is only 45lbs ...this looks ideal.
