Re: Mast Cell Tumors : Lessons Learned

How this never popped up in the search I'm not sure, :dunno: but here is the text about Tiva's tail amputation and healing success. Congrats Tiva!

Re: Plop, plop, poop

So the last thing I expected was poop in my SHOE. Yup, my shoe. Yesterday Capone had the WORST day ever. After we came back in from the initial getting home outing, he did not poop outside so I figured I'd just make sure he did on the walk. He did not make it that far. Drop drop plop plop and a big ...

Re: Plop, plop, poop

Thanks All! I actually have a few cans in the cupboard but have stayed away from it thinking Fibre would just cause problems. I can start it and see. I love the easiest route but want to do what's 'best'. What kind of amounts per day would be best? fibre will increase the amount of poop, but it is n...

I'm sure they will replace it. Mine comes in plastic now but I always wondered what would happen if it was still paper.

Re: Plop, plop, poop

What about a fecal culture? Or a trial course of Tylocin? Often times with dogs like Capone, we would try a diet high in fibre. Of course it would perhaps be a difficult transition but since he's having diarrhea anyways, it might be worth a shot? OK, I'll check that out. I'll talk to the doc tomorr...

Plop, plop, poop

Many of you have heard through the 3.5 years about Capone and his poop. I am so sick of worrying about poop, I'm starting to think of only poop and it seems obsessive now. The smell, the consistency, is it firm? is it this? is it that? <auuugh!> So this is the latest. Well, it's been going on for a ...

Re: Tivoli

true, but sometimes dogs that have had problems with skin do carry puffy skin and especially as they get older have a different look than most dogs. Could this be true here too? One of our Basset hounds went the the same route, his skin was always puffy despite drugs and food. His poor paws looked s...

Re: **Diamond Naturals dog food recall**

Just got a note from my co-worker. Who knew that something 'would' happen?

"I’m having an inspector with the Virginia Dept. of Agriculture come to my house later this week to take a sample of the Diamond dog food."
