Re: Help with way to happy tail?

Here is a topic I started a while back. In our case, the happy tail starts froma few things, either knocking it on the wall/crate etc. OR from a staph infection. Good luck, we've found a mix of Simplicef and Liquid Bandage works. It's a b**tch. We did the syringe tip and all she did was fling it off...

Re: Plop, plop, poop

Have you tried cooked hamburger? I've given it to dogs who have stomach issues and it 'dries' them right up to the point of being constipated (if you give them too much). I just mix in about 7 ounces for a 50 pound dog per feeding with the regular kibble, and then add some water until it's all floa...

Re: Plop, plop, poop

I know! It was scary seeing the blood. I had never seen it like that. Just streaks never drops
It must be so uncomfortable, and he is such a trooper.

When it comes to Immodium how much do you give? I give 2 when it's wet and 1 if it had turned softer.

arrrrgh! It's back. And it's worse. He had been doing AWESOME! Even after a week in the kennel for vacation. Firm NORMAL poops. Yesterday we had diarreah. Ok, I thought, it will be ok, this morning well sort of ...ok. Tonight we had blood dripping in between plops. AND of course, the vet had just cl...

Re: behaviorists & trainers please contribute

I don't have any advice, but I've heard of the trainer you speak of. He's a quack as far as I'm concerned. A good trainer and someone that can help do an assessment is Joyce Moore from Joyce Moore Dog Training. She is just a lil north in New Port Richie if I remember correctly. She worked very clos...

Re: behaviorists & trainers please contribute

I see a lot of you had at least looked at the post. If you are reeling in amazement that this dog can function still as a 'good' dog, you'd probably be where I am. Based on some of my own experiences I can suggest things, but I really know nothing about a dog that is considered 'dangerous'. I do fee...

behaviorists & trainers please contribute

Alright PBF, I've got one for you behaviorists and quality trainers out there. Since it is NOT my dog... my feelings will not be hurt BUT, keep in mind he is a human being that is trying to fix a situation that he realizes he helped create. I'll call him John Doe and his dog will be Skip. He's a chi...

Re: Yucky swollen toe

well, for sure it is infected, ewwww sorry about that obviously going to the reg vet tomorrow is good, but I'd say take the sock off and let that puppy breathe. You'll want it to dry out. Could she have a thorn in it? That antibiotic is oral? But if not, topicals normally never work for us as they a...
