When I first started this board i was feeding Orijen on a trial basis because Raw was getting costly and I dont have time to hunt anymore. I really liked Orijen, but It cost more than feeding raw. So I switched back. I like Evo, but Evo didnt like one of my boys. I fed one of my old dogs. TOTW becau...

This is a subject in which I have some interest. I had heard that there was no real reason to feed a puppy-specific kibble, that it was the same as an adult kibble but with more calories. And I'm somewhat interested in feeding raw, though I'm daunted by the reported increased risk of food-borne ill...

I am a firm believer in raw. Some kibble I like but I would not feed it if I didnt have to. Kibble can change and you will not know until later. Remember this. if its improved formula, What was wrong with the first formula. Other things to consider. If you only eat processed food. What will you loo...

I know lots about dog food, but you dont even know who I am so my advise is you need to check and recheck what ever you read on the net. May I ask what those credentials are, other than personal experience and your own internet education that you are warning others so strongly about? HOW do you kno...

As much as misskiwi and I have butted heads about food, she does know what she is talking about, not all vets are completely clueless about foods. Personally like Orijen and that is what Grendel eats, but I also recommend Evo, Wellness and taste of the wild. It depends on your budget as well, there...

Actually, it depends on the parents. If either parent was larger than 60 pounds, I would feed a large breed food.
