Re: Injuries sustained from weight pulling?

As others have said it,I have personally never seen any injuries at wp competitions..(other then toe nail pops) Now I do believe you can mess up a puppy structure, when you're pushing them too hard too early... I was at an event with my staffords, and was talking to an old friend of mine, whom I haven...

Re: Anyone in the South MS area that can mentor?

I think the best way to go to look up upcoming events of the sports that you're interested in,and go watch and learn. Get to know people, ask questions(when you see them have the time for it),and I'm sure you'll be able to find help after they'll see you being serious. You might like a sport on video...

Re: *NEW vaccine protocol*

my vet is young and still gives yearly vaccines. There's one clinic here in my city that vaccinates for everything, every year, no discussions period. Horrible medicine IMO. I found a new vet after taking my then 17 year old cat in for bloodwork - specifically telling them not to vaccinate for heav...

Re: Heads Up UKC weight pullers...

Well, I consider my involvement w/UKC at an end. I'm tired of compromised competitions, wading through pages and pages of trivial rules and endless mind games. I've been disturbed by the changes that have been made recently, w/seemingly little concern to those effected. That's not limited to the la...

Re: Heads Up UKC weight pullers...

I know there are hopes the UKC will come around, and change things. But, to me it seems like it's just a grim outlook. Don't hold you breath on that Jen!!! lol It took them months to make these changes, there is NO WAY they will be changing anything anytime soon. What they had done with the sport i...

Re: 2*2

No I haven't of course, the trainer told me to get them for next session...Are they that crappy? I was planning to get the advanced one, cause it looks sturdier.. If he kills them, let me know Ellie. Leslie had made some super reinforced ones for our crew before. Something that can withstand bully b...
