Re: blue buffalo co.

I feed my puppy the dry and wet Blue Buffalo. She loves it and is thriving. She is 6 months old and I will keep her on this until around 10 months and then re-evaluate. I can't wait to get her on the same food our adult dogs eat.

Re: How can someone think THIS is ok??

Bless you for taking him and you husband for snuggling with him at night. I slept with a sick puppy for a couple of months. When she was better and it was time for her to sleep in her crate, I went through puppy withdrawals. Watch your husband it may be a hard habit to break him from. :) I want shak...

Welcome. Glad to have another member from Norcal! Dude is a cutie. I can almost smell the puppy breath. Our youngest is almost 6 months now. Enjoy his puppyhood, it goes by quick.

Re: loosing canines

I have a 5 month old pup that had the same thing going one canine. She let me work it for a couple of days then I gave her a frozen, raw marrow bone (in her crate). It did the trick. I found the tooth in her crate when she was finished with her bone.

Re: New grain-free dog food!

Has anyone here switched from TOTW to this? How did it go? I started transitioning my dogs over to Nature's Domain in December (see my earlier post on this thread). They were on Wellness which has more calories than Nature's Domain. However, the Nature's bag is bigger so the savings is still the sa...

Re: Need advise for 9 week old puppy with blood in her urine

Juno tolerated her surgery well. Today she is home and currently napping. Prior to her nap she was alert, energetic and hungry. However, when my Vet called with an update following her surgery, he said there were not stones present in her bladder. My first comment was that the entire surgery w...

Re: Need advise for 9 week old puppy with blood in her urine

First and foremost, thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and opinions. After additional research, obtaining a second veterinary opinion (third when you count the one here) and careful consideration, I have decided to go ahead and spay Juno during the operative session to remove the bladder s...

Re: Need advise for 9 week old puppy with blood in her urine

What's the reasoning for spaying her at the same time? I know. I was planning on spaying around 6 months. The rationale for doing it now is that it would eliminate putting her through another surgery in a few months. I have mixed feelings about this. There are pros and cons to doing this during the...

Re: Need advise for 9 week old puppy with blood in her urine

do you have health ins on her No. I have it for the other 2 but some reason I didn't even think about it until we were in the middle of this. My vet is giving me a discount on the surgery since he cares for all of our dogs and we use their in house trainer. Funny thing happened though. My husband r...
