My chi Cesar was free to me cause, my husband's mom bred them. She was charging $450.00 for each one. (Don't get angered yet, her female is now fixed, thanks to me and the Spay & Neuter Bus of Utah!) She didn't health check nor are any of them papered. Anyway, I have come to realize why this is ...

I will personally wait till until full maturity is reached. Its just a personal preference.

Sadie wasn't spayed when I rescued her and she is like 2-3 yrs old, of course she is now, but I will wait next time to about the same age.
