Re: 7 months old and on joint supplements

Hm. Thank you. :goodpost: So does no sport include walking/jogging with my girl? She needs the excercise, mildly overweight. The doctor didnt actually check her for easty/westy just based it on what i said to her. Also she called it something with a C, like congelital something rather. It would sadd...

7 months old and on joint supplements

I took Chaos into the vet this past saturday due to a limp on her front left paw. It didnt slow her down, or even seem to phase her, but it got predominantly worse when she woke up or got up from sitting. Mind you she is still running after Felony, and chasing toys. After a week I made my appt. My v...

My dogs get a 15 min walk before work and a 20 min walk after work, another walk after dinner, and one before bed. They could use some more excercise though. Once Chaos is healed from being spayed i'm going to TRY to start a workout plan for us both, jogging in the early am, and late evening, we bot...

My dogs get walked before breakfast. But my other concerns after reading your post is.. on the later days, the FIRST walk is at noon?? That could be a cause of an upset tummy. Imagine you wake up, isnt that one of the first things you take care of for yourself? It may be hurting the dog to have to w...

Thanks. I didnt even think of that, lol. I was just thinking about making the bumps go down but your right, no itching, no anti-itch spray. I got home an hour ago and the bumps are less visible. Maybe within anoither day or so and they'll be gone. I read somewhere on here about Benedryl, is this rea...

Tiny bumps under her skin

Chaos was spayed last Friday. As of wednesday i noticed 2 bumps on her back, and 4 on the inside of one leg (possible misquito bites?), or maybe a reaction to medicine? I dont know. I will psot a picture when i get home. I had called the vet who told me to come in. Then i re-thought the $50 exam aft...

My 7 month old is recovering from being spayed as we speak. I wanted to do it younger (before doing my research), but my vet wouldnt even consider is before 6 months. I felt like she was going to go into heat soon since my male would sinff her and excessively drool, so i got her fixed at 7 months. I...

Hmm thats interesting. Does that mean there was nothing on the outside to heal? The only thing you had to do was keep them still for her insides to heal? Chaos chewed her Cone collar to shreds yesterday so shes in her cage w/o it today. She hasnt attempted to itch the incision so thats good, but whe...

Yea, ive tried. (see above post) The leash barely worked. I could keep her off the sofa but she ran around me in circles and wanted love! I tried sitting next to her crate to calm her but she just cries and cries. I keep thinking shes going to feel forgotten. Shes never stuck in her cage and with a ...

Update: 6/10/09 Chaos made it through surgery fine. She was calm (enough) in the car for our ride home. She slept alot the first evening. I have some questions though: 1) The doctor gave her rimadyl (4) for pain. Is this enough? That was finished yesterday (day 4). Does that mean she wont be in pain...

I called the vet at 1:57 lol and they said Chaos' spay went fine and she is available after four. Unfortunately I am stuck in work until 5:00 + 15-20 min drive. But im having my fiance meet me at the house so i can bring him with me so he can pick her up into the car. I can barely lift her, and I do...

Thanks everyone. Glad to hear its regular procedure. It was hard for me to just leave after the paperwork. Shes normally not a scared dog at all and i dont know what she smelled but her tail was between her legs the whole time. She calmed down for a few minutes when i was petting her (which is why i...
