I guess many dog owners think the heavier the dog, the better. The only fit dog in my neighbourhood lives across the street from me. He is a gorgeous Boxer and is lean and fit.

lastly for now. Asking your vet is not the best thing to do. Vets do MD stuff. Nutritionist to diet stuff. ps its not hard at all to do raw. and its only time consuming if you dont do your homework first. I think its more time consuming to take my dog to the vet to get his teeth cleaned, picking up...

Maybe you should have looked a tad further in that thread --- You don't need to take the bait Yvette, your words have done enough to show myself and others how you truly feel about the breed. Then you and your cohorts changed your avatars to match- Pit bull lover, not a pretender - which is what yo...

[b]To make you post pics of pit bulls you've saved, that was going a little too far. I agree - hence my "high school" comment - because that's what this board becomes all too often, is a little clique :eyeroll: I didn't MAKE Yvette do anything. For clarification, resort back to my origina...

Yvette, thank you for sharing those pictures. I know you don't like to "brag" about the pits you have taken in but you post pictures of other rescues you are helping and don't consider it bragging. Like I said, it is a pit bull forum and it is wonderful to see other people help pit bulls. ...

I laughed so hard when I fed Logan raw because he would carefully investigage the food and if he didn't like it, he looked at me with a look of disgust and walked away from his bowl like "f*ck this, I ain't eating it". lol

How about the premade raw? That is quite pricey though.

What if you have a dog that is extremely picky when it comes to raw? I used to feed raw. Molly loved it but Logan is so damn picky, the only thing he would eat is beef.

Re: Has anyone told you your dogs are too thin?

Mods I didn't know if this should go here or health. Has anyone ever told you your dogs are too thin because their ribs are visible? I like my dogs lean and prefer I can see their ribs and have a tummy tuck going on. I have been told Logan is too thin because you can see his ribs but the boy is far...

Oh yes Tigger looks very gaunt! lol

Crazy the vet didn't say anything about her hips being x-rayed but was concerned about her weight.
