Ari is a year now and has been on the orijen large breed puppy since he came home with me. He is doing so well on it that I am sort of hesitant to switch him on to the adult Orijen. Is it absolutely necessary to switch to adult food and what are the drawbacks of not switching?

What I do think is important is pointing out the dangers of leaving your dog in your car like that, what happened is horrible but it was preventable.
