Re: Heart murmurs

Ari.
Almost 14 months
I dunno. Dr "Coma" didn't specify much other than left side and significant. BUT she was comatose during the exam so who knows. He goes for further diagnostics on Thursday.

Re: Heart murmurs

Thanks. I am sure I will have questions as we look at this more. With any luck, Dr "Coma" will call with a time for the EKG or ECG or whatever. I hope that that will happen this week BUT I am prepared to wait till after the holidays I suppose.

The more I read, the more I hope I know.

Re: Picking a vet?

I swear there is nothing like a great vet!!! And staff!!! Sometimes word of mouth is a really great resource. Sometimes not. I will shop around some when I move to a new place. I have no problem leaving if I don't like the clinic when I walk in. I DON'T like young, fresh out of school vets. My dogs ...

Re: How long did it take for your boy to hike his leg?

It took another male around the house for shy of two weeks for Ari to occasionally life his leg in girly position. He is 13 months. I really don't mind that he isn't a leg lifter. Though I did almost shed a tear the first time he lifted his leg in baby position.

Re: Could use some ideas.

He looks like a well loved dog ;) Maven is my chubby one (she could get fat on air) She has lost 3 lbs and has more to go. She gets 1/4 cup of kibble for breakfast and some organ meat, a drumstick and a wing for dinner. I am thinking I am blaming her thyroid for her chubbiness. I will take her in fo...

It was my "bad" then. :switch: (sorry for the whipping..I rarely get to use it ) . No worries, I like it! I will "arm" myself with better treats (can of cheese). Work gradually up to the neighborhood of barking over the next week or more? Try to keep him in locations that aren't...

I love this dog!
I can hardly wait to see him progress more!!!
I am curious about deaf dogs that track.. do they have a better "sniffer than the dogs with all of their senses?"
