The vet almost killed Ivy yesterday.

I don't even know where to begin with this. We took Ivy (my dads puppy) to the vet for an ear crop. This is the same vet who cropped Rex's ears (my dog). My dad is not stupid and this vet was jerking him around yesterday and he has a feeling that something is up on her end. I am running on 8 hours o...

Re: Soft Stool

Thanks for the reply. He is fine today and there was no mucous or blood. I think it is the treats I notice more mucous when I give him too many of them. I am sure treats and the sticks from my dads had a lot to do with it. He's pooping like a champ

Re: Soft Stool

I took him out today and he was fine. I think I gave him too many cookies on Monday. I have noticed when I give him dog treats, his stool gets a little softer and I gave him a whole bunch of treats on Monday. He is doing fine now.

Re: New Member from Arizona

That's awesome. She is a cutie. I would say that the growling is normal, some puppies are really vocal and some aren't.

Cheers from Phoenix

Re: Soft Stool

He isn't uncomfortable at all. He is acting normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. I think I am going to take him to the vet BUT I am going to monitor him first because it was a tiny amount of blood. I just think the stick he ate didn't sit too well with him. If he gets worse, or starts acting differe...

Re: Soft Stool

Update: I just took him out and he pooped. It was not as big as it usually is and it was very mucousy. There was a little blood when he first pooped, then when he was done he gave it one more push and some more blood came out? Don't know what that is but I am probably going to take him to the vet if...

Re: Pee-ing Stance Question....

I know Rex is 18 months and squats. He occasionally will lift his leg. In regards to Booker, Rex loves to poop in bushes. That's his preference. It's weird. He will poop in the flowers at the apartment, or the vines/bushes that are low to the groud. Very odd. On the up-side (ill probably be scolded)...

Soft Stool

So King (my boyfriend) left for work today at 6:30 and let Rex out of his crate to come snuggle with me (like every morning) Rex would not get in the bed and I figured he was just being stubborn and he was excited because King was there and when he left, he'd jump up. Well he didn't and I fell back ...

Re: Rex went to the vet on Tuesday

It's been such a long time since I have been here. I think I may have figured out what is wrong with Rexy. The vet said it was a food allergy. So he is now eating DVP NB Duck and Potato. I got a skin scrape, he didn't have mange thankfully. She scraped 2 places and didn't find any mites. :) so we're...

Re: Has anyone used NU-STOCK for Mange?

I am basing that statement on the fact that it DOES NOT CURE MANGE. You dont even know if your dog has mange! dont try to diagnose or treat something that you obviously know nothing about. If you cant afford proper vet care for the dog then give him up to someone that can. if thats not the case, st...

Re: Has anyone used NU-STOCK for Mange?

Where do I get oral ivermectin? I have been calling around for skin scrapes and it's looking like i'm gonna pay 60 to 100 dollars. I get paid tomorrow, I will try and get an appointment asap. What kind of ivermectin should I get?

get a skin scrape and go from there.

What is your basis for this? Have you used it? How do you know it does not cure it?

Re: Has anyone used NU-STOCK for Mange?

Nope. Not yet. I get paid Thursday and i contacted my schools vet tech program to see if they could help me out with it because my normal vet charges an ear and tail to go there. So until I get paid or have more $$$$$ I am going to see if the vet tech program can help me out. I'm just getting prepar...

Has anyone used NU-STOCK for Mange?
