Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

He is now milking it for all it's worth. I can pick him up and touch him without him yelping, but the minute I have food and reach over to touch his chest or anything he yelps. Jerk, learned how to milk this. And now he's starting to look like a sausage! But he does seem to be getting better, you ca...

Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

He's almost back to normal :wow Got him out of the crate this morning, you can tell he's still a bit uncomfortable, but I touched his sides, no stiffing up, no yelping. He's walking almost normal, he still won't raise his head all the way but he's raising it a little bit. No whining or anything. He'...

Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

No worries I have not given him any asprin or any form of pain meds. I'm locking him in his crate for the night to see how he is in the morning.

Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

I put him in his crate and I'll see how he feels in the morning, he isn't turning down food or treats which I'm hoping is a good sign.

Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

 Just a few questions? Does Beau yelp only when you touch him? Did he fall? Could he have severe gas? I know my boy whines and sometimes yelps when he has gas. Is his stomach hard to the touch? Is he moving/walking properly? ASPIRIN: Can be given short term to dogs (never cats!) to help reliev...

Re: Please help! Yelping in pain!!

Most likely its back pain... a trip to the ER is a good idea, the sooner you get pain meds on board the sooner he can get comfortable again I don't know how I'm going to be able to pay for the vet much less an E Vet trip. I have zero money to my name and my mother won't help me pay for the vet bill...

Please help! Yelping in pain!!

Something is wrong with Beau. He's yelping every time I touch him on either side of his chest. This just started tonight, but he has been acting a bit off today. Like he's been whining all day and kind of moping. I've ran my hands over him several times and I'm not finding any breaks or anything tha...

Re: What is your favorite dog food?

I've always been happy with Purnia products. Beau started out on Puppy Chow and has eaten everything from Ol' Roy (Not by my choice) to TOTW. The best he's ever looked on is Purnia Dog Chow, right he and the rest of my crew on Purnia One Sensitive Systems.

Re: Why do you feed the food you do?

I feed Purina One Sensitive Systems. I like the food and the results I've seen with it. My dogs have been on everything from Ol' Roy to TOTW. And by far this is the best they've EVER looked! Plus Moe my Dachshund has BAD food allergies and his ears are clearing up and his fur is growing back nice an...

Re: Finally a food that WORKS!!!!!!

While I am happy you found a food that works, I worry about the quality of the food your feeding. For one, if your pet has allergies, the last thing on earth you want them to eat is un-defined proteins or ingredients. I would never feed any pet of mine anything with Animal Fat or Animal Digest. The...

Finally a food that WORKS!!!!!!

Okay I FINALLY found a food my Dachshund Moe is doing amazing on!! He has bad food allergies and is allergic to stuff like chicken, corn, brown rice and potatoes. And it's been hard to find him a food that works for him and in my limited price range. I was talking to a Blue Bufflo rep lady who works...

If it makes you feel better when Beau was about oh 6 months old he chewed and ATE a remote control!!! He pooped buttons and remote parts for days, how he passed it I'll never know. He also ate underwear, bras, a cell phone, a bed, a couch, a wall and a door. And did I mention he's a Beagle roflmao

Re: Hey Hey

When can i post else where? I want a good guard dog for my house just so I feel safe. Pit bulls sounded like a good choice and they are active and smart. I think I'm going to do agility with my dog. I'm going to look at dog #629 on Monday otherwise she's gonna be put down Tuesday. And that is why y...
