Re: Dealing with an acral lick granuloma

my boy has the same thing on his front right paw.. it started last year from a tick bite that he obsessed with licking.. I have tried everything to get him to stop with no success. Scar is a happy and busy boy but somehow finds time to continue licking his paw. I just try to keep it clean so that it...

Re: B.A.R.F. 101

We just started last week to introduce our dogs to RAW. I have been giving them chicken quaters every other day with 1 or 2 chicken hearts. I went to a local meat market today that had a sale going on and stocked up. They had a 40 pound box of quarters for 18$ and they also had these huge turkey nec...

Sure, I've posted photos of Liberty's nipples and her vajayjay, but there was no bondage involved.

Re: Constipation & hemmorhoids

I did answer that she is 10 months old. And I don't know what brand of kibble they give her. Either they are taking her to my bet tomorrow who is a fantastic vet so I know she will get the proper care.

Re: Constipation & hemmorhoids

Um... last I knew dogs don't get hemorrhoids... but they do get several types of perianal tumors. If the masses are causing constipation, the dog likely needs surgery. I recommend seeing a different vet with the knowledge that if surgery is indicated, she's likely going to need to see a specialist ...

Re: Constipation & hemmorhoids

Don't mean to be graphic but the actual hole seems inflamed? Maybe it's something in the water...?? Msvette.. Your sarcasm wasn't necessary. If you had nothing constructive to add you should have kept your 2 cents to yourself. I knew exactly what gave Salem the runs. But your thoroughness of search...

Constipation & hemmorhoids

This is not for any of my dogs. My friend just found out that his dog is constipated and has hemorhoids from their vet. The ghetto vet they took the dog to just said to put some preparation H on the dogs butt but didnt tell them what to do for the constipation. So I am hoping to get some help from y...

Re: My Three Year Old Was Mulled in Durham 03/07

Well it is nice to see so many on here who've never made a mistake ;) Seriously though - those horses y'all on are pretty high, try to not fall off, okay? No high horse here.. and I have made plenty of mistakes on the road to becoming a responsible owner.. the difference is that I have learned from...

Re: My Three Year Old Was Mulled in Durham 03/07

That's why groups such as B-More Dog are so crucial to educate the public on responsible dog ownership. Don't sit there and point fingers and say "you should have", get out there and educate people on how to properly care for and keep dogs, of any breed. Be pro-active, not reactive...! Pa...

Re: My Three Year Old Was Mulled in Durham 03/07

Heartbreaking, preventable but I hope some of you put yourselves in the OPs shoes. As a single mom, sometimes you're just doing the best you can to get by. If her boyfriend moved out and left the dog chained there, what was she to do? I guess she could have/should have euthanized him preemptively??...

Sorry but I just have to admit that I giggled a little seeing your pictures of her tail wrapped to her leg.. roflmao not that its a laughing matter of course but I couldnt help myself. Just try your best to keep wrapping it.. and try not to get her excited when she is near something that can break i...

Re: My Three Year Old Was Mulled in Durham 03/07

I am very sorry this happened to your daughter but as a mother of 3 kids myself I do think that you were negligent. Yes mistakes happen but when you have kids their safety needs to come first. My 6 year doesn't even go outside by herself. And keeping an unaltered male chained up outside with kids wh...
