Re: good, durable collars?

I got some stillwater stuff a while back and it came really fast but Pretty much the whole order was wrong. Perhaps it was miscommunication or something but I didn't even get a couple things I needed and got multiple pieces of other things I didn't need. The stuff was like the bizarro version of wha...

Re: ligament problem...

I understand to be carefull that it could still be a tear even if after a couple weeks shes acting fine, but now shes been on low ativity and anti-inflamatory for 3 days and shes walking absolutely normal and the swelling is gone, yesterday I brang her outside for potty and she ran like a rocket al...

Re: Dashie-Baby has a lump :/

Thanks guys

Dashie-Lumpkin's lump is benign :yipee: Histiocytoma and edges were clean. He will probably have more but at least this one is over with.

Re: Dashie-Baby has a lump :/

Dash says a spastic hello to Zoey and family :hi He started scratching his stitches last night so I had to come up with something on the fly. I used a worn out pair of my favorite kind of Smartwool socks, the super lightweight ankle-high biking socks, and cut off the tip and tied some pieces of a ri...

Re: Sneaky's latest ordeal

I would think there must have been abnormal cells, trauma, bacteria or a foreign body present in her tissues to cause such dramatic inflammation. I find it a little hard to believe that nothing abnormal was found. Seems odd to me. There are fungi spores over the place so it is not surprising that so...

Re: ligament problem...

Re: ligament problem...

Vin, how long did she need to wear the brace? It seems as if the brace would be a non-surgical equivalent to an extra-capsular repair, with the difference being the joint was stabilized externally instead of internally while the scar tissue built up and stabilized the joint. Very interesting. All t...

Re: Weird Behavior

Sorry to hear about Dakota:( If the x-rays are inconclusive, I'd personally approach tug games in a different way from now on. I'd let him run things. I do this with all my dogs all the time. I know they can hang on but I let them dictate how much I tug and I let them win the tug a LOT. Like every f...

Re: ligament problem...

Yep. Here is a video of my dog on day 1 in her Orthopets knee brace. She has bi-lateral FULL CCL RUPTURES. The first knee (without the brace) was surgically repaired and bothers her every day, even 3 years later. The braced knee is in great shape so far and she never wears the brace anymore. About 1...
