Re: evil pooh

He got some yoghurt for breakfast in lieu of more chicken. I have used pumpkin before, but am also hearing good things about slippery elm... I guess I wonder how common it is for dogs to just not be able to handle raw chicken, and how long I should keep trying (with a digestive aid). It's definitely...

evil pooh

Like most people who have been responsible for a puppy-especially before crates became popular-I can go from the deepest slumber to on-my-feet wide awake the instant I hear what sounds like pee hitting carpet/linoleum/any indoor flooring. This early morning I heard what I thought was pee-pee, but in...

Re: Healthy weight

I like my dogs a little ribby, but I get flak from a lot of people for it, including my boyf. If ribs aren't showing but they still have a good tuck, then I think they look like the average "I'm a healthy weight but wouldn't die if I lost 5 pounds" creature. I like my pets skinny and fit (...

Re: Chopper : nervous peeing

Ivermectic works SO well and since Chopper is a pup his dose might be low enough that it won't cost too much. A 50ml bottle costs $50ish on amazon. My adult foster is 55 pounds, and got 1ml orally of Ivermec daily (his dose increased slightly as he put on weight to 1.4ml per day), for two months, an...

Re: Shedding! </3

What have you been doing so far? We use a grooming mitt and a furminator on our young GSD who sheds like CRAZY. She gets a bath twice a month or as needed (I prefer less but my roomate isn't into her stinking, and she loves to roll in mud and poop  ). Loosening the fur with the mitt and the...

Re: What is this and what can I do? *gross pictures*

My dog gets a similar reaction on his stomach and inner thighs when he swims through stagnant water or freshly mowed grass. His is just an allergy prone skin and it passes within a few days. Washing with cool water is important to remove the allergen, but I wouldn't use anything else on such sensiti...
