Re: Dog-but-not-Cat Repellants

cutting a small(cat sized) hole in the top of the rubber maid lids makes it much harder for pups to get the kitty crunchies...kind of a cheap version of this https://www.clevercatinnovations.com/litter_products.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but the dog could still technically k...

Of sneezing and a few other things?

So for the past few days Xena and Tina have been sneezing pretty frequently, with a clear runny noses. No change in energy or appetite. Today Xena seems to be reverse sneezing and gagging a little(some gagging is not uncommon as she likes to eat small stones and other things off the floor). I'm plan...

Re: Training Goals for 2011????

Going to find a trainer/ behaviorist and work on the girls drive to eat my cats...I'm just not confident enough to try it with just me and my SO.

Also working on perfecting their recall so we can take them off leash

Yellow for the love of friendship(victorian language of flowers)

I think our Darby's rose was pale pink, now it has pale pink, pale pink with dark pink tips, yellow and coral colored roses...it's quite pretty.

Re: Grave markers/headstones.

We've buried the ashes of all but one of my childhood pets under a rosebush at my parents house. They've moved a few times and the bush comes with them each move. It has also started blooming in 3-4 different colours which I like to think is because of those past pets. I think when my girls go I wil...

Re: Please think of her

If some one starts a chipin I'm sure we'd all like to be able to help Tigger in whatever way we can. Sorry to hear that things went back down, still praying for her to pull through all of this!

Lick and nuzzles from Xena and Tina and best wishes and prayer from my man and I!

Re: Car Harnesses?

I'm not too worried about the length, more that it would stay in the car with the dog attached, lol. I'm going to have to look into those as well :D I love this site, I went from knowing nothing and buying my pet supplies at walmart and petsmart to now having a couple of seriously spoiled princess d...

Re: Car Harnesses?

I have it, and I don't really like it. The harness itself doesn't seem sturdy enough to be used as a seatbelt, IMO. I don't like the plastic buckles and sliders. I use my walking harness from MissyV ( http://www.weightpullharness.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) in the car as a ...

Car Harnesses?

Does anyone have any experience with the kurgo harnesses?? http://www.kurgo.com/products/tfsh.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I've searched the site and didn't find much on what people use for harnesses in their cars. I've got a little 4 door pontiac g5 and two big rottie/shepard...

Re: Joint Supplements

We use human grade glucosimine for our girls as per recommended by their vet. The only catch is that for dogs you need the glucosimine HCL, NOT sulfate as apparently it doesn't metabolize the same way. We just buy whatever is cheapest in the 500 mg pills. Currently costco seems to have the best pric...

MissKiwi I was going on what I've been told by several vets here in Canada. I'll keep in mind that not all countries do thing the same way though, thanks for the reminder, I shouldn't make blanket statements :)

Re: Help a pup, get a collar!

If you click on the chip in link it tells you how much more they need.

Right now it's saying they've raised $450 out of the $500 - so only $50 to go!!!
